a WELL TRAINED road safety officer opened his door to use it and block a bike rider carrying a passenger. no regard for life or property.
Exactly. How can a trained officer use his car door to stop an okada on motion when the plate number should have been taken down to track the offender. The useless FRSCN officer outrightly defended their own by claiming that his men where not at fault. The okada guys should haven killed some of the officials on sight.

AT LEAST SANUSSI TOLD THE NORTH THE BITTER TRUTH AND HE EVENTUALLY RISKED HIS THRONE AS EMIR TO PASS ON HIS HARD MESSAGES.

Even though Sanussi has his own faults such as marrying many wives and living flamboyant lifestyle that includes choices cars like ROLLS ROYCES.

interesting that up until now, no post is talking about the dead persons killed by the recklessness of the useless FRSC personnel......instead it's the burnt building that interests everyone. No wonder we are all taken for granted in this upside down country.

The FRSC men were Callous, they should find another way to arrest these errant Okada drivers who think they are above the law!
But if you suffer injury or death, in trying to evade the law, you have no recourse to Justice.

Even more alarming is that the Police, whose duty is to protect life and property, can respond to events like this and prevent the Mob action!
I would expect that once the situation was degenerating into Mob action, the Police should have mobilised and be on standby but the fools are somewhere not far collecting bribe along the road.
Ofcourse, they will also benefit from the arrest, charge and bail that follows.

This country operates on two different laws,
One for the North, docile, permissive and nonchallant.
Another for the South of Nigeria, very brutal, aggressive and intolerant.

This is why we MUSt either practice regionalism or breakaway.
The North does not want breakage because they are taking every other region for a ride.

Lawlessness is not the way to go at all.
It makes humans behave like barbarians.

To ride against the traffic is wrong.

To mobilize and humiliate FRSC officers and burn down their office is worse.

If the late guy in the centre of this whole issue had not acted lawlessly, he probably could have been alive and the arson wouldn't have happened.

The starting point of peaceful society is for the members to be law abiding.
