davidnazee: You talk too much. See attached from Professor R. E. Bradbury himself. The most authoritative historian of all time on Benin History. Certainly before the Nupe army conquered many territories of Benin Kingdom, an Ibadan military commander, named Aje, had led Ibadan forces to slave-raid Benin Kingdom. He sacked many settlements in Benin Kingdom. Bradbury suggested that the Ibadan raids may have also continued even after the Nupe invasion of Benin Kingdom. Reference: R. E. davidnazee: I know you are leaning on Olfert Dapper again. I told you to stop using that freak as reference. Is that not the man that said after you wash Benin walls he saw them shine like mirror? Has he ever seen a wall in his own Dutchland shine like mirror after a wash? This act of sweet patronize is what we call Alaye in Yorubaland. Somebody wants your goods, they praise you to heavens and give narrations of what you can and cannot do....the moreso what you cannot do....beyond practical human endeavor. This swells your ego and you release to them what they want, plus more....including what they didnt ask for. This is how dutch sailors ripped you off. Olfert Dapper was the Alaye that sang your praises and said things about youbthat was not possible in his own kingdom....or in any kingdom. Olfert Dapper was a tout! Have you ever seen a wal shine like mirror after washing it? That would be a marble wall. Marble materials are recent discoveries in structural ornaments. Their use is less than 100yrs old. So stop relying on Alaye Dapper as your authority on history. 2 Likes 1 Share |

I demonstrated the existence of archaeological evidence (dating to the early 1300s) proving Ife's ascendancy over Benin Kingdom. You ran away never to look back after I proved it. 2 Likes 1 Share

gregyboy:Your contention here is as selfdefeating and selfrefuting as your reply in the conversation below: Me: Gregyboy, you're so foolish! You: It's a lie. But let's assume it's true, is my sister also foolish? I have f*cked you up so badly on the c1300 archaeological evidence for Ife's suzerainty over Benin Kingdom. [See attached for reminder]. I flogged you severely as "gregyboy" on that topic until you fled for dear life and deleted the topic from your list. You came back weeks later as "Edeyoung" for the same issue you had earlier fled from. You got flogged to death again. On the relationship with Oyo, they simply see each other as sons of Oduduwa. This is why whenever Oba EwekaII (who died about 3 decades before the creation of Nigeria) wakes up in the morning, he goes into a narrow room in the palace then wait for the first morning rays of the sun to illuminate the window after which he immediately proceeds to offer supplication to (1) "the Oghene of Ife", (2) the Alaafin of Oyo, before (3) himself, and (4) all other Yoruba kings. Reference: Oba Eweka's conversation with the European visitor H.L. Ward Price circa1920 in his Dark Subjects. Can you now tell us if a similar relationship exist between Benin Kingdom and the Urhobo Kingdom? [s]TAO11 is bored she just want to Have a discussion by force[/s] No distractions. My question still stands. Why does Benin Kingdom still continue to pay homage to Ife, even in modern times? Ask EwuareII. cc: RuggedSniper, MetaPhysical, BabaRamota1980, gomojam, lawani, babtoundey, Moneywomen17 2 Likes 1 Share

TAO12: Tao, God bless you jare. Edeyoung/gregyboy, see your life now. You could have saved yourself these much embarassment but because your Edo ancestral rebellion has eaten deep into your spirit the only thing you know to do is seek banishment, expulsion, exile, poisoning, doublecrossing, cussing and witchery online. Study and copy the lifestyle of your Bini rulers and follow their ways. The Oduduwa way. Learn to accomodate, love, tolerance, leadership, learn civilization. Bloody slave. Look, Baba lo ma pa e! Let me see you try another witchery here. I will banish you into Abiriba. Yeye thing. 2 Likes |

Tao12, Why are we still on this topic of Oba of Benin giving libation to his great great great great grandfather in Ife? Let me see, ok, right now we are on page 5000. . I thought you repeatedly instructed gregyboy on page 1 on same exact subject. . This is his witchery rebellion playing out. Next time you have to teach the uncivilized guy let me know. Im ready to scatter his broomstick during flight. He is rebellious. He can never listen, thats Edo way. Im telling you. Very wicked way. 2 Likes |

gregyboy: Oghene refers to person. Ife refers to place. Your Oba EwekaII told Ward-Price that he suplicates to the "Oghene of Ife", et al. every morning. Yes, he used this precise wording. Refer to H.L. Ward-Price's Dark Subjects (London, 1939), p.238. I know I am about to kill you. And I know you hate Oba EwekaII now. 3 Likes 1 Share |
