It isn't airborne, it is droplet. They only recommend airborne precautions when administering aerosols such as nebulizer treatments. If it were to be airborne, it will be far more virulent than its current state. Also, those patients will need a negative pressure room as used in TB patients who are placed on airborne precautions. How many negative pressure rooms do you think exists in hospitals around the world? By the end of today, you will be more knowledgeable than the WHO epidemiologists, I guarantee it.

You people don't even understand the Israeli and most foreign moves to evacuate their citizens. The evacuation is the best they can do to care and protect the lives of their citizens. Bringing them home to a country where all of them will be well taken care of financially, physically, medically and otherwise. Nigeria has ventilators, sure just in limited quantities. America is running out of ventilators, I have relatives there who said they are using Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure (BIPAP) machines as ventilators, which isn't ideal. They have all the money to buy ventilators, but there isn't adequate supply. When a patient's heart stops and they call a "code" the doctors don't even have enough N95 masks (airborne masks) to enter the room and resuscitate the patient. To limit exposure to the medical staff, they only do 1 or 2 rounds of CPR, if there's no pulse, they end it and allow the person die. So don't be too quick in thinking the foreign countries are that much better equipped or prepared than us.
