Have been thinking of this since last month, no doubt about it that corona virus had cause series of deaths in many countries including USA, Spain, Italy, France, China, Australia, Canada , UK to mention few.

This had cause increase in Mortality rate of these countries which automatically means decrease in population of these countries.

My conclusion: we

After this corona pandemic is over most of these countries will be lenient with their visa procedure and process and also allowing easy inflow of immigrants to their countries.

This is my observation which i see as a kind of Favour to some set of people that have been looking for opportunity to migrate.

Please kindly add your own observation of what the after effect of COVID 19 will be

The long route through Libya road will be covered with weeds because Italy will be more than happy to issue free visas to Africans to come populate their land.

The visa will be in 2 categories,,one for Africans and the other for Edo people.

People will love more, most people by now have realised key pointedly that this life is feeble. People will stop packing world to chest.

People now have realised nothing is impossible, "it's not possible not to work on Monday, it's impossible not to go out for weeks"... Doubts are cleared

What's considered 'living the best life' now may not be in few minutes to come. Ahah celebrities come dey delete their recent abroad trip pictures for instagram

"World power world power"... World power is helpless. We all need ourselves.

The world can have a common enemy again. This should teach us unity, but I doubt it would, rather it may be 'to each its own', a "to your tent oh Israel" kinda thing.

China is going to get a lot of backlash. Countries are going to work hard to reduce their dependence on that country for manufacturing, supplies etc. at least this is what should happen if the rest of the world has any sense. China is not a reliable business partner at all. Other countries need to work to move supply chains closer to home.

this world is currently undergoing upgrading. things has changed. the virus will hit Africans the hardest in the coming years. the worse is that oyibo is about to come and take over Africa.

Some European countries would actually issue more visas to immigrants ,especially Africans. This European countries is characterised by low population rate(even appointment ministers in that regard),even before the pandemic hit their country...

maybe, you need to do medical test or have a corona virus vaccination cards before you can go to any country

false. The pandemic is taking out mostly old people not young ones working. The usa visa you quotedis false too. There will be recession worldwide so nothing for migrants

You are the only reasonable person here. Majority of people dead are pensioners. I wonder what that has to do visa leniency. The working class of most countries are still very active so when the virus is over, work continues.

It will affect economy of many countries for instance, Germany economy now is going down so after this covid -19 most country will not regain their economy again

No sir, it means they will employ and create jobs for their people first before immigrants.

Also I predict that it will be difficult for anyone to get Visa into other countries because of security issues.

...i don't know about globally... but locally, things will be very cheap... the reason is because

1. some Nigerians have lost their jobs

2. some are on pay cut

3. with family responsibilities and pre-existing life style, many will be so desperate for money to keep up with life and as a result, they will want to sell their properties like houses and cars, etc... at give away prices

@OP Are you joking?? This pandemic has thought many country about the importance of borders and regulating who comes into their country. Visa restrictions will be tightened. Especially in America where Trump looks for any excuse to tighten restrictions anyway.

Even very liberal countries like EU countries and Canada have closed their borders to each other. Governments now understand the possibility of biological terrorism and this will only make them tighten immigration rules. I don’t know how you came up with your own conclusion. The corona virus is not that lethal that it will drastically reduce the population of countries to the point they will be shopping in new immigrants in mass. Only a few thousand (mostly old) people at most will die in each country. That’s not very significant. You sef tink am na.

But globally, I see China becoming stronger than USA
China won't. As a matter of fact there is a strong resentment towards China right now. People will hardly buy their products. And with time, powerful countries will come together and try to move factories to another suitable location.

10 years after the recession in 2008, most countries economy bounced back. Saying they won't recover is false. The performance of any economy is time dependent considering other factors remains the same. So stop the fear mongering. It doesn't help anyone.

For Nigeria a lot of people will loose there job because most company may not survive this imminent economic downturn

There will be more focus on production and sales of essential items

The agric sector might be the best to invest during and after the economic downturn

The country will become more unsecured because a lot of chronics will take advantage of the crisis

Lastly,the rich should watch there backs because men won't be smiling at all..

Recession and economic downtown but here in Nigeria, salaries will not be paid for months but the senators will be paid their entitlements. ..

By the time the world fully recover from this China would have become the world economic powerhouse, America will be struggling with her economy and Africa will still be what it used to be - a struggling continent in the world stage.

i dont think so ooh...in northern italy, many chinese work there and they are the ones that spread the virus

most european countries will close their borders tight

the bulk of people dying arent young people but old people who are retirees
