Operation new world order is in motion, this is just a drill to find out how they can control the world psychologically, next thing they will introduce a cure in form of a chip on the forehead or the hand. Don’t be scared though because there’s a way to defeat this trouble times and that’s by holding on to Christ.

They left the airports open for so long undecided

Why are people surprised at the increase? It's obvious our slow contact tracing and isolation is causing a lot of problems. We should just hope and pray for a timely breakthrough in terms of cure and vaccine.

is that also responsible for spread in usa

The most annoying thing is we had lot of time to prepare and take preventive measures.

We saw what was happening in Italy. Rather, we acted otherwise. We prefer the reactive approach. It's unfortunate.

We can only hope and pray we don't become overwhelmed with the situation. It will surely be disastrous.

Nigerian Government should better say the truth about this virus cos many Nigerians thinks this virus is a joke.. many Nigerians still leave their houses to God knows where... it's very unrealistic that a whole Nigeria has only 131 cases because we are one of the most populated country in the world.. USA has over 100,000 and South African has over 1,000.. and they are telling me we have only 131 cases after Nigerians all over the world trooped into Nigeria for safety and assylum..this is a pure lie.. Nigerians better stay indoors for your own safety.. go and watch the news and see how Italians are dying.. infact no space to bury the bodies anymore.. then imagine how Nigeria could be..God forbid

Not exactly.
If it can't be stopped, life will return back to "normal" and the vulnerable will be segregated or sacrificed.

The stupid FG failed to act on time.
Now, most state governors are still taking it at a joke.
Even if Lagos successfully bend the curve won't new cases be imported from other states.

Ogun state governor is even giving people 5 more days to further spread the disease when he
had more than 1 month to prepare for this emergency.

I also think it was a stupid decision by Ogun state to request for 4 more days.

There's something called immunity bro.
Survivors of first wave stand a chance of overcoming the second wave.
Second wave won't be as bad as first.

I agree. But one can never tell how many fatalities would result during each 'wave'. If we are to depend solely on those waves to gain immunity against it, the body count may be massive beyond comprehension. The best bet is it to just find a cure or vaccine asap.

You will likely eat sand if oil becomes less relevant.
Overnight societal and economic changes are always catastrophic, no exception.

No oil money, no economy in Nigeria and plenty chaos.

Prices will be forced to drop if the purchasing power of the people is significantly reduced. That is a positive.

Without Mass Testing, we are just cooking a recipe for disaster.

Lockdown means nothing without testing, isolating and treating infected ones.

Coronavirus can never kill Nigerians the way it killed Italians, Spanish, Americans, Iranians, Chinese, Germans, etc.

Our weather is different from theirs. This virus kill people mostly through pneumonia like attacks that attack the lungs, the heart which makes breathing difficult. Just make sure you are always in warm environment, avoid cold drinks, take more of hot meals and drinks.

Take hot shower no more cold shower.

Keep your home well ventilated.

Keep chloroquine, Azithromycin and zinc sulfate with you, once you are diagnosed with covid-19, and you start to see some symptoms like fever, dry cough, weakness, please start the dosage asap don't mind those saying don't do self medication, do it it's safer and better than rushing to the hospital where your case will be ill managed and worsened out of fear.

But my advice to all Nigerians now, build your immune system up by taking vitamin c and vitamin d everyday. Buy 500mg above, don't buy 100mg.

Stay calm, coronavirus won't be as fatal as it is in other western world in Nigeria.

Worry more about the aftermath of this whole global pandemic, I mean the economic impact, that should be your worry for now

It is not really a positive if you look at the cascading effect.

Price drop if it happens can only be temporary to clear already stocked merchandise.
This is because we import most of our consumed goods.

If there is very low oil price, there will be little dollar for import and the forced devaluation
will cause the price of basic items to shoot through the roof.

Is there any serious adherence to lockdown and social-distancing in Nigeria? I think what’s saving our bacon is the excessive heat and possibly the fact most Nigerians are just hardy and tough!

Who told this one that heat stops d spread of corona...... Is 9ja hotter than IRAN?
