5 : Self Medication : Nigeria is well known for self medication and data seems to suggest that many patients with similar symptoms as COVID has chosen to knock it off as common flu and self medicated their way out of it with the support of their youthful immunity ( twitter is filled with such stories ) 6: Youthful population : Nigeria due it's high ratio of youthful population with Youthful immunity might be acting as a stumbling block to the person to person transmission rate in the country as most youth have the capacity ward off COVID infections without even throwing symp 7: The Grace of Almighty God : Finally like our people say "Cow wey no get tail na God dey help am pursue fly" the only other plausible explanation for the low numbers is that the Grace of Almighty God is with NIGERIANS as even God knows our Govt is not prepared and doesn't have the capacity to handle a full [/quote] A great write up |

rusher14: Dude I didn't say anything is ordinary, you did. But if we had done one right, we would have avoided doing the both at a time and that's the fault of this government |

slowice: The whole world did it mostly in unison. A country like Nigeria can hardly make such unilateral decisions without feeling the gauge of the world in general. In any case, the taste of the pudding is in the eating. Nigeria has pretty much staved the virus and by the general society abiding by social distancing and the lockdown it should be a thing of the past pretty quickly, we all hope. |

Mr passingshot You wrote like an Apcand Buhari supporter no doubt. Always seeing contrary views as that of wailers or destructive criticism. Thanks to Mr GAMAL NASER, for a robust response The issue of late border closing is a big low in handling this pandemic by buhari's govt.keeping secret, the identity of confirmed cases has made contact tracing difficult if not impossible. Another big low one In handling pandemic. |

Basher8583: You can go ahead to prove your point if you are too sure@the emboldened. The Ebola case was well handled and managed by tech ocrats in the field coupled with timely intervention. Besides the fact that the mode transmission of the two diseases differs in some aspects. If Nigeria had taken necessary measures in time and sincerely we may be recording about 0 to 2 cases but hey, we wanted to look good in the eyes the western world and China because we need their loan. |

opeey: Malaysia, There a lot of countries with our kind of hot weather, but their virus cases keeps going up and more people dying so your weather theory makes no sense. Epidemiology is not your area of specialization, let experts and epidemiologists reach that conclusion. All because you hate Nigeria and don't ever want to give your own country credit for anything, even something good that you really need to be proud of.

Biodun556:meaning sanwo-olu is the worst governor Handling the case in Nigeria because last time I checked Lagos has the highest number of case compared to Rivers, Edo, bauchi, Abuja, etc combined. But you know Lagos case is different cos if this same case points GameNasser listed |

rusher14: For a country that depends on developed countries for solutions we should be been proactive. Observe, the numbers are going up and if you think Nigeria have starved the virus then you re Jon snow. Except there's a miracle or a vaccine is found quickly, we re already in deep shit... Many ve not been tested and thats why the numbers are still low. I suggest you stop hyping incompetence and rather use that energy to pray more. 1 Like |
