No dey discourage people anyhow.
I don't see any difference between Lagos and Abidjan. If one can make it in Lagos, he/she can equally make it in Abidjan.

I have a friend that's teaching in a Nigerian school in Abidjan, He makes roughly 90k cfa plus free accommodation. He is living happily in Abidjan.
Are you sure he's telling you the truth? How can a teacher earn 90k CFA ,even with accomodation ? That's way too low.

please don't compare life in Nigeria to that of Abidjan. Rent is monthly here and landlord no dey hear abeg.
Life is much more expensive compared to Nigeria. But life is easier, constant light , security is okay. There is peace of mind in Abidjan.

Dont bother saying much about abijan, I have also lived outside Nigeria for more than 10 years and I understand how rent is paid, I am not comparing Nigeria with Abijan but someone with 90k salary and free accomodation provided with some basic amenities, will be better with time as long as the person realises that the said salary is not much and do all his or her cooking at home, buy much food stuffs to last like 3 months from Nigeria and dont forget that accomodation is sorted by the employer, tell me what else will consume the money?

live is more expensive in Nigeria than Ivory coast. yet people are surviving under less than 40k salary here in Nigeria. most senior level salary starts with 100k

Life is more expensive in Abidjan. There are many Nigerians suffering and going mad in Abidjan. Please stop saying what you don’t know. Abidjan is not heaven on earth.

Yes, two of my friends sent me a video of one of their popular TV news station called RTI ( if am not mistaken by this name). I watch it and also listen to it when the newscaster said it has officially opened. She started with Ghana before talking about Ivory Coast.
