Don't bother about reading through the Bible, each member of Jehovah's Witnesses is expected to read the Bible from cover to cover at least twice before he/she could claim being a preacher of God's word!

The reason is because a Christian must be confident to refute whatever is not in the scriptures. I never got baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses when i declared to a so called Pastor that his name "Raphael" is not in the Bible.

This is the dialogue that happened. Relate 1 Corinthians 15: 26-27-28, Apostle Paul was talking about death, that he is the last enemy that shall be destroyed, that all creatures have been put under him, even Jesus but expect God so that He can be glorified through Jesus his power that was sent to the world in human image.
Now move to verse 1 Corinthians 15:54-57, where the glory is being given to God via his power that he sent into the world (Jesus Christ).
