We all know that will be the eventual result of a lockdown with no relief material (food).

Remember, okada was banned not too long ago.

If the police apprehend the robbers, they will collect money for them and release them back to continue from the robbery. What a country?

How is this even possible in a lockdown situation and police did not rein in this scallywags?
All those boys operated in group of 20 to 30 boys and fully harmed.

Sad. I saw this on Twitter today. People calling for help from Nigeria police and people burning tires while working as vigilantes.
I hope government will do something fast otherwise the robbed will become robbers if they have been robbed of all their possessions. With this happening, anything can happen.
Moderate relief materials are enough to go round in this rich country Nigeria If genuinely distributed to homes. Otherwise, this will be an ill wind that will blow no one any good including politicians who feel they are safe and thier party members first.

The fanfare with which leopard Omotekun was launched gave the impression that security had returned to the region for real .. so the launch was just gragra

If the federal government had come down hard on their stand againt the outfit , all the media houses from and in the region would have been foaming from both sides of their mouth

Amotekun has not started operations yet, if you want to lie you better lie in another thread.

It's so sad when innocent and untrained civilians are forced to protect their own lives and properties because of the failure of our security operatives. You call them and they tell you that there's no fuel in the patrol car. Even if they come, it'll be an hour after the robbery. When they arrive, they'll start arresting innocent people. What a joke of a country.

I'm very concerns how government will said, 200billion was share to Nigeria's at the rate of 20k per-each. And total of Nigeria's is just 200million.. So how do u people shared 200b for God sake..

I knew it cos the security are not everywhere...

Yeah.
The whole of Nigeria's security personnel are less than a million, and we want 1million personnel to police over 200 million people without giving useful info.

Civil police about 300,000-350,000
Army 150,000
Navy 15,000
Air force 18,000
Customs 3,800
