The law is there before the death of the COS but was violated. God forbid if another elite dies, the story would change. God help us all. At the same time, all that attended the burial should be isolated and if free from the disease should be punish with a community service.

Why allow the burial in the first place??
Since he died of covid-19, there are established procedures in burying victims of covid19
This was largely ignored( Nigerian factor, he is a big Man)

The guy removing the hamzat suit is clearly not an official of ncdc.but was just kitted for the burial. High level of irresponsibility.
If the video had not gotten out, China and Italy would have been a child play when compared to what would had happened in Nigeria.
Indeed God loves us in this nat

It's a total shame to see this awful development in Nigeria. Top govt officials involved in breaking the rules against handling of this pandemic.

This Abba kyari news should rest small now.. He's not the first patient to have died of the Wuhan virus. And, seeing some hypocrites and miscreant trying to force "sympathy on the dead" on us will not work. Live a good life on earth so people don't get to lie at your funeral. Don't try to guilt trip people. Because We owe them no sympathy! RIP Abba Kyari

FCTA should go and sleep. That burial was aired live. It was not a secret. FCTA should have put checks in place before the burial. The number of persons and distance to be maintained should have been spelt out. Even seeing it on TV people started tweeting the no distance thing. Were they in FCTA sleeping then? Why didn't they sent enforcement agencies to go and disperse or ask them to maintain distance. There were even a lot of people without the nose mask. Any person wey go touch beehive, na him bee go sting.

The FCT authorities have reacted:
COVID 19: UNPROFESSIONAL CONDUCT AT GUDU CEMETERY

The Health and Human Services Secretariat of the FCTA has noted with concern the video trending on social media, showing a man pulling off his PPE unprofessionally after participating in the burial of the late Malam Abba Kyari.

This government is a joker. I think they are milking from this Covid-19 saga and that's why they are intentionally indulging in the activities that would enhance its spread like that of the burial of Abbar Kyari. If not, why didn't they follow the directives given by the NCDC and the lying words of the "harbinger of lies" himself concerning how the burial of any dead arising from Covid19 would be done? Or was Abbar Kyari a better dead than the rest? Hypocrisy has ruined our country.

Any other uneducated person could have done it and not only an aboki.
Bigotry is a disease.
The person in question acted bad,but those that filmed it are even more worse n idiotic, because they ought to have raised an alarm and correct the man.But because they have a bad intent, they left him and the clothes and did not filmed when the man came out with a nylon to pick the cloth(see attached pic).
Nigerians should be more worried that NCDC failed in the proper disposal of the protective suits
I thought u will make sense until I read all and got disappointed with the video of same man packing the cloths without a glove . Now go back to ur cave mr bigotry undecided
