There's this general stereotype among our women who don't think men also cherish the "sweet words" game; love text messages, surprise love notes, music serenade et al. They seldom use this department to get into the man's mind as often as a man uses it on them.

In my opinion, it is a wrong idea. Beyond the feeble firewall of alpha male-ish men put up front, quite a high majority of us really do appreciate it when our partners uses such sweet words on us too; Yes, it is touted that men are more on the side of logic while women deal mostly on emotions; but bot logic and emotions are what makes us human in the first place!

So abeg, don't hesitate to spoil your husband/boyfriend/partner with "sweet nothings"; we love "Words of affirmation" just as much as we love what our eyes see and our hands can touch and you know.
