Getting married is everyone’s dream but there are some things you must know before that.



As we all know that marriage is like a lifetime career in the sense that once you are in, it might be hard for you to get out of it. that is why it is expected of you to be conversant with some certain things before getting married.
I have compiled the 20 things you must know before getting married and below contains that.

1. Don’t mingle because you are lonely. Make sure you mingle when it is meaningful.

2. You cannot really recognise and appreciate love if you have not worked on your ability to love sincerely.

3. Love yourself like there’s no one else around. You will hardly feel hurts.

4. Have it at your back of mind that Love is spiritual which means that Two-spirit entangled. In a situation whereby there is no affinity, the flow will be absent.

5. There’s no perfect man or woman anywhere, neither is there any perfect relationship. The relationship is only for perfect spirit connecting together to encourage the flesh.

6. There’s no season in a relationship. It is a ground of continuous sowing and reaping.

7. The wrong relationship is a deterrent to growth. No seed germinates in a wrong ground.

8. Do not wait to pray when things go wrong. Pray before going into a relationship and keep praying while in the relationship because everything needs prayer to work well.

9. The minor mistake and excesses you ignore today will become a great concern tomorrow. Note, the serpent in Genesis became a dragon in Revelation.

10. Stop praying for your intending spouse to love you. Pray God to reveal the person inside him or her to you

11. Do not ask all the questions in one day. You may get a pleasing lie that will blind you from the truth. Until you are spiritually broken, companionship remains a big deal to you. Relate with God first.

12. If you can’t receive the love of God, you cannot receive the love of man.

13. Compassion is not a substitute for stupidity. Do not marry when the compassion is not inline with the future you desire. Do not say he stood by me let me marry him even when you know your future is not safe with him.

14. True love will never deny you sleep. True love brings comfort and makes assurance grow well.

15. If it doesn’t build then it is not real love because Love does not scatter. If it lacks God’s principles, you are fighting God, Quit.

16. If nobody desires your principles you are out of lanes, reflect and redirect your life.

17. If you cannot correct one another with truth and boldness then your relationship might fail in future.

18. Learn how not to react immediately to negative situation.

19. Think more than you talk and act more than you complain.

20. Surprise more than request, no matter how small it may be. The price is not in how much but the motive behind it.
