One thing I’m sure is that, IDENNA is the alternate handle of Meleszenawi and JuliusMalema. Check his antecendents on nairaland and you’ll understand his motive.

1. Pitch brothers against brothers
2. Use Omanbala culture to seperate Anambra as a tribe different from other Igbo state.
3. Make Nri as the Ife of Igboland, while downplay other heritage.
4. Denigrate other Igbos states such as Imo, Ebonyi, Enugu, Abia etc.

But ask a him questions about his said village (Umuoji) and he doesn’t know, (all you see are Nri
cultures he learnt online and publish them as Umuoji? grin. Ask him about him the name of his Igwe and Eze and he doesn’t know. Very funny. I have told him to go and learn how to impersonate, because he can’t fool me. He isn’t Igbo, I don’t care what he claims to be.

Nobody is denigrating you but stop lumping unrelated histories. such things don't work rather it is a recipe for stagnation.

stop bringing your unrelated history in compariso to another.

unnecessary accusations coz of truth.

Just for the records in case a stranger walks in where these sadistic elements are telling these lies. No where on this forum did I ever denigrate any Igbo be it from Imo , Abia , Enugu nor Imo. All I am doing and have been doing was to reawake the Omanbala cultural consciousness , unearth our lost cultures and glories and use these articles to build a modern Omanbala that is going to be the bastion of African cultures. I dont like including other Igbo because I dont want to be accused of imposing a foreign culture on anybody. Anambra is quite different, culturally and all I want is to bring out the beautiful culture of my ancestors but I guess that's simply means I am "denigrating" other Igbos.

You think people like Chinenye would want Anambra culture representing Ngwa ? I doubt it!

Don't indulge them that much because they simply have no argument. He said I was evading questions that is a lie from the pit of hell. I have the history of Okodu clan off hand and I dont lie no hide from nonentities. Secondly , I never speak ill of these people but whenever I try to celebrate Anambra they barge in and start making rettarded comments....its deep seated inferiority complex. They dont want us to celebrate our culture thats why they had to lie to cover their true intentions. If they maintain I had defamed these Imo , Abia and Ebonyi let them prove it. I am waiting

No one is trying to divide Anambra and no one can do it because the influence the various clans have had on themselves have become so great today that we have fused to become one such that people hardly tell which part of Anambra one is from. This is what I envisage for all Ndigbo but it can't be done by intimidation, suppression, belittling and/or segregation. If by fortune or chance one finds himself in a favourable position that makes me predispose to leading his people, he doesn't need to forcefully assert himself to gain respect. He just needs to flow and relate with such magnanimity that nature bestowed on him and you'll see his people beckon on him to lead them. This is why people like Tuface have been so successful across all regions in Nigeria despite being from a minority tribe.
Let me comment on the Mbaise religious saga which you once mentioned... it is a regrettable thing that happened but if we must be true to ourselves, doesn't it show how such parochiality comes back to hunt us? Don't we do similar religious shenanigans in Anambra? Isn't there a subtle Anglican/Catholic political squabble? Certain things happen so we can learn from them. What the Mbaise clan did was wrong but we must show them maturity by not towing similar line as them as against what we naturally will want to do. Do you remember what the new Enugu state government did immediately after the new state was created? If Ojukwu had been a small man, he would have moved out of Enugu but NO! he stayed back because he knows that that decision was infantile. This is why he remains the EzeIgbo gburugburu. We must look beyond some immediate gratification to get a better and more lasting result.
The near homogeneous culture at present in Anambra state was achieved by choice and not by coercion. This is why non of us kick against it. Any Igbo from outside Anambra who goes into different towns across the 3 senatorial zones will easily see the dialectical differences if he's observant. However, we all chose to identify with Onitsha dialect and adopt other admirable customs from the different clans that make up the state. Today we all have become stronger because it is a natural thing. Allow nature to do its thing among all those and see our nation grow.
I choose not to go down that route of identifying which towns in Anambra that are similar with the your omambala and which are not. I'm very proud of my heritage and also of my nation. Flavour(Ijele Africa) my brother chose to sing his popular song 'gbom gan gbom' in the Nkanu dialect of Enugu state. That's how my people choose to enjoy the beauty of the diversity our Igbo nation can offer. I bet you will appear like a stranger when you visit Orlu or Owerri. I choose to see the bigger picture.
Udo diri nwanna.

You should overlook that boy. His case is pathetic. he begs virtually everything on nairaland with long sermon.

I don't bother myself reading any of his post because nothing comes out of it. imagine someone who begs like his online fully shows how he behaves offline.

meaning he begs for everything. don't waste your time on him.

Good morning to you all, first I'd like to share my own opinion on the OP question.. The Igbo tribe is uniquely diverse in spoken language/Dialect, I consider myself an Igbo from Delta State, Ndokwa/Ukwani to be precise and we use the word "Isee" as an affirmation to a Prayer or Blessing. I want to believe Isee is used by a vast majority of the Igbo tribe and of any Igbo related tribe in any part of the country, although some clan still maintain and have their own word of affirmation in their dialect like "kpooh" as someone mentioned.

@Idennaa.... it doesn't matter what state or clan of the Igbo tribe you come from, the most important thing is the fact that you're an Igbo, it's saddening that you on different occasion said Anambra and Imo are not one, translating to mean two Igbo clans are not one just because you wanted to defend your clan, I thought to myself if you could say such of two Igbo clans just because they have been political grouped differently in two core Igbo state, what then would you say about the Igbo clans in Delta, Rivers, Cross River, it could only mean you don't consider them igbos at all. Trust me this and many other, is the reason why most Igbo clans who finds themselves grouped in a non core Igbo state is finding it hard identifying themselves as Igbos... This is a divide, rule and conquer policy by those who never meant well for the Igbo tribe, imagine the strength of all Igbo tribe United in one voices no matter what state you find yourself. Truly you need to look at the bigger picture just as yujin adviced.
Don't make yourself feel like a stranger amongst your Brethren. Every time I travel around any Eastern state, there's this confidence of being among fellow brothers that comes first before being weary of the poor condition of the country at large.

@Yujin... Kudos... You have spoken well.. I really appreciate your comments.

It's really an interesting thread catching up from the first, but I don't think it's a good idea trying to make a clan superior to the other in this present time.. there's a reason why it's called history, it doesn't make it 100% accurate. Remember a lie undiscovered becomes the truth and after a long time becomes history.
we can argue reasonably to learn without throwing jabs and uppercuts.

Every person from your neck of wood I have met in the last 20 yrs of my life not only deny Igbo but they show brutal hatred to the Igbo. So, I dont understand where you are coming from...its difficult to discuss with people who hate you so much for no reason.

As per my comments about Anambra and the rest I am not here to subjugate or denigrate any person but I will not let lies fly around nor watch outsiders cut Anambra in little pieces and pit us against our brothers. I am following a group of southern Igbo who hates the position of Anambra and our influence and their main purpose is to create a crack in the Anambra cultural solidity. Our identity and culture is of utmost importance and that needs to be protected and I dont want to have certain conversations with people who aren't from Anambra.

I have no problem with Igbo unity and I will even vote the Anambra hating Dave Umahi but I will never let any living soul have a shot at disintegrating Anambra and creating division and confusion in my father's land. Let them leave Anambra alone and stop disrespecting the position of Eze Nri and our nation and there will be peace.
