Ishilove, please Sis...
Canines and poultry don’t mix.
It’s either one or the other.

I should know from experience...

Take heart, Love.
Thanks dear. I don't know what to do with her carcass. It's still upside down in a bucket outside

When you feed a creature several times a day to the extent the creature becomes excited whenever she sees you, it is inevitable you develop some kind of attachment to that creature.

Like seriously Matilda is gone just like that shocked shocked

Awwwwwww sorry darlyn kiss kiss You need to show gift who the boss is before he turns to a monster.

But he already is a monster (forgive me Ishilove for that, I read the whole thread... please be careful)
If you love one four legged creature, you can love another. Get one, two or three baby goats and rear them. Don’t get hurt.
Sorry about your chicken.

Please do not bury it. Obviously you can’t eat it, however give it a struggling family around you...they should cut off its head and eat the body (after cooking it that is cheesy).
Someone would bless you and your chicken won’t have lived for nothing. It would nourish many bellies hopefully.

LMAO! cheesy cheesy

I've recovered from my hurt. Gift is now nicknamed 'Ori okuku', aka Slayer of Chickens.

I don't know if I can love a goat. Too darned stubborn and smelly.

Merakhi darling, I can't give it to anyone because there is no head. Gift had eaten her head before we caught him. I simply put my poor Matilda's headless corpse in a poly bag and tossed it into my neighbor's uncompleted building.

I have a viscous dog too.
She kills everything:

Chickens.
Snakes.
Guinea fowls.
Crabs.
Rodents....

And litter everywhere with carcasses...

I’d rather go with a clear conscience giving someone else what I can consume rather than giving out something strangled and dead on arrival.

That’s it.

I'm having same issue with my bull, he should be 8 or 9 months old now. Ever since he was 3 months bathing him has always been stress, he chews his wooden cage that we had to make a very strong iron cage for him. He's been too aggressive and I don't know what to do again, i just let him be in the cage, and feed him there. As he doesn't get out of the cage due to stubbornness he's nails are now sharp that before he baths he must have given marks all over my hand n legs. Sometimes he succeeds to slip out of my hand and first thing he does is to go fight with the quiet Rottweiler that's on chain or Scooby the bull mastiff. I just fear that one day even at his tender age he'll beat the hell out of his seniors. The other dogs are over 3 years.

The day you realize this dog has dominance over you sell it. I repeat sell it else it will kill you. They are known for aiming the neck.

Ishilove, a lot dog owners, owners of rot have given you a lot of advices and the disaster awaiting you. I love rot and other wild dogs but the disadvantages na u dey experiences so I settled for chihuahuas all the time. Mine got killed some days back by a neighbor accidentally and na so I go accidentally burn him car. Get rid of that dog else it will tear you into pieces. Rot are beast when they attain that alpha figure. You are playing with fire ooo. Get rid of him.

Dog Lovers, Please I Need Advise On My Rott's Naughty Behavior

I have a one and a half year old Rottweiler named Gift and I don't understand him anymore. We can't chastise him again when he misbehaves because he bares his teeth and growls menacingly at us if we try to spank him for being naughty. He welcomes us when we come home like any loyal, loving pet, but yesterday he shocked me. Usually as we are about to enter the house he playfully holds one foot down so we can't enter, or he jumps on you and hugs you tight so you can't move. When I got back from work yesterday I was exhausted and I didn't have energy for his play so I hugged him briefly but as I entered the house I mistakenly stepped on his right hindpaw.

He howled, left me, and lunged at me, this time to bite me. He actually narrowly missed my arm.

I was mad. I turned and yelled "Gift are you mad?" He bared his fangs and barked at me. Me sef I bared my teeth at him and ordered him to stand down. He growled, me sef I growled back. Do you know this dog kept advancing menacingly at me and barking? I quickly borrowed myself brain and locked the door. Werey dog.

I can't shoo Matilda, my chicken in his presence. He covers her with his body and warns me away. And now, the most perplexing thing is he now marking every where in the compound. My sib came visiting and before he entered the house, he quickly relieved himself outside because he was very pressed. Do you know Gift went to where the dude urinated and peed on top? It has gotten so bad now that Gift entered the house and marked different sections of the corridor and smaller dining area with pee.

Now, I don't know if this is classic Rott behavior or if he is just being indisciplined. I confess we spoilt him a bit because he is such a sweet animal when he is not misbehaving.

How do we discipline a dog that has grown wings? He is well socialised so it's not a case of too much isolation.

The words in bold got me cracking my ribs. People are looking at me weirdly, wondering me what's making me laugh out so loud

I know someone whom his GSD bit him and left him with a bad leg for 2 months. He ended up killing it on the advice of others who claimed it was a spiritual attack. I tried to discourage him but he didn't listen to me.
