I tell people when u let a dog become part of your household,always make them get used to a leach(neck rope) ...they are animals and are unpredictable and tieing their neck is way to tame them down,,my dog should be a year old now

When ever I hold his neck she happily gives me her neck to put it on , because I always give her a treat for dat ,even after flogging her ,I still give her a treat ,

I find it difficulty to understand when People tell me my dog will bite me when ever I put rope on his neck ,
Some dog user can't even bath their dog , because of he will bite me ,,,a dog is like train a child and when he is old he will not depart

I take my dog for a walk when it's raining ,so that wen ever they are lost ,they don't get scared of walking down home in the rain ,

Two things determines how ur dog will turn out,
1. parent traits
2. Owner personality + trainning
its either yu bring in a trainer or you bond him with a dog that as temperament. when ur cool dog sees d other dog barking vigorously biting the iron cage dramatizing whenever a stranger steps into the compound ... he will learn n pickup cos bad influence dey sweet.

I always leave very early and come back evening and no dog around me. Maybe will try look around cos me want the dog to be like my other dog they killed. The other dog was so wicked that people have to pour fuel on him inside the cage when I left and burn him down. The dog knew only me and u dare not joke around carelessly.

Even foods sometimes is a waste of time, and can be harmful if taken in excess without caution. You shouldn't be eating foods you don't need, for instance, I do not see the benefit of Fufu/Akpu for someone living a sedentary lifestyle, meanwhile its a necessity for someone doing hard labour.
The facial expression of smokers is abnormal, most teenagers smokes because of Ego amidst friends, which is a negative thing,as your actions shouldn't be decided by ego.

Smoking is addictive, Sir/ma, even if it is exessive talking that you are addicted to, you should stop. You shouldnt engage in anything that would control you.

Lastly, smoking is dangerous, it makes you less human, and distort your thinking. Also, there's no reason to be inhaling gas, when you can use that time for something positive

I'm not a smoker. But we shouldn't condemn people for their habits simply because we don't practise those habits. There's nothing on earth that doesn't have negative and positive or good and bad sides. Anyways, your point is also valid to a large extent. Kudos!

Rottweilers naturally are very strong dogs,their power is in their head and shoulders.They can push down a full grown man when they hop on the person.I also relate to ur situation of not bn able to tie him .I remember something that happened almost two years ago.A vet came to the � to inject the dog.Twas jus ma parent's that were available,they could not tie the dog to the chain,He was jus barring his fangs at them.They got scared and called me..(((smiles)I had to leave work n came bek home to tie the dog to a chain.U can understand the nature of the dog.Most times,it's closer n more loyal to someone who gives it more time and who commands it more.it shows disrespect to other members of d family that are not close to it.
It is advised dat if it's ur first time having a dog,den a Rottweiler shouldn't be an option.Secondly,a lady or kid or old persons should not tend to Rottweilers,cos it requires a great measure of strength, commands,time, Toughness to tend to a Rottweiler.Give it more commands at d top of ur voice.discipline him when necessary but not always.Play WT the dog sometimes,spend some time with it.With all these,it will be more inclined to love u more, become more loyal n respect u more.Any further questions,plssss drop...I will be willing to help.

Dog Lovers, Please I Need Advise On My Rott's Naughty Behavior

I have a one and a half year old Rottweiler named Gift and I don't understand him anymore. We can't chastise him again when he misbehaves because he bares his teeth and growls menacingly at us if we try to spank him for being naughty. He welcomes us when we come home like any loyal, loving pet, but yesterday he shocked me. Usually as we are about to enter the house he playfully holds one foot down so we can't enter, or he jumps on you and hugs you tight so you can't move. When I got back from work yesterday I was exhausted and I didn't have energy for his play so I hugged him briefly but as I entered the house I mistakenly stepped on his right hindpaw.

He howled, left me, and lunged at me, this time to bite me. He actually narrowly missed my arm.

I was mad. I turned and yelled "Gift are you mad?" He bared his fangs and barked at me. Me sef I bared my teeth at him and ordered him to stand down. He growled, me sef I growled back. Do you know this dog kept advancing menacingly at me and barking? I quickly borrowed myself brain and locked the door. Werey dog.

I can't shoo Matilda, my chicken in his presence. He covers her with his body and warns me away. And now, the most perplexing thing is he now marking every where in the compound. My sib came visiting and before he entered the house, he quickly relieved himself outside because he was very pressed. Do you know Gift went to where the dude urinated and peed on top? It has gotten so bad now that Gift entered the house and marked different sections of the corridor and smaller dining area with pee.

Now, I don't know if this is classic Rott behavior or if he is just being indisciplined. I confess we spoilt him a bit because he is such a sweet animal when he is not misbehaving.

How do we discipline a dog that has grown wings? He is well socialised so it's not a case of too much isolation.

OP na to kill am chop. If not na omila u enter I dey tell u. Jejely buy another one, kill gift for that one front and chop am so that the upcoming go get sense say death dey o.

I believe it has a strong collar.
Pet his head and neck give him some treats, sit down with it as you pet it's head and underbelly.
While it is enjoying Causally
Lock the chain on it's collar.
Strong chain oh!

After putting it on a leash, don't shout at it..... still coax it with treats and petting until you get it to where you want to chain it for a while.
