Rabbi igfirli warhamu. May ALLAH forgive his shortcomings. Please make it a point to include him in ur prayer. Since we are in Ramadan it is better. Pray for him before breaking your fast, pray for him after eating in the midnight b4 morning salat and wake up early in the midnight too. That way he can reap one of the rewards of someone who raised a child who is aware of the deen. May our children remember us in prayer when we are gone too

Salamun alaikum brother,
Dreams in Islam are of three types.
Either it is from Allah, which is meant to serve as a warning or or to show you a reality of an event, or a kind of foresight .
From the devil which is always false and is meant to make you unhappy.
Or from your own state of mind.
Do not be disturbed as this might be from the devil trying to play with ur head or from your own state of mind,
Similarly it could be from Allah , if that's should be the case my advice is for you to make a lot of dua for your father, give sadaqa.....this is very very important . Give alot of sadaqa on his behalf, make tahajjud or night prayers especially towards the last part of the night and pray for him earnestly for Allah to make his situation easier and better for him, give sadaqa (this can not be under stated) on his behalf, and the best of sadaqa is to provide water to the public, insha Allah things would be better and know that your Lord is a Merciful and Forgiving One.
May Allah Grant our dead jannah.ameen

Truth be told,

your dad is in hell fire crying,
even if you like do sarakat or farakat or cancafat for him

even if you like go and do parafat for him,

there is no remedy for him because after death comes judgement,

any dead person you see crying in your dreams is in a great torment.
