BB is crap,d only advantage is unlimited data plan,but wat can i possibly download on a bb dat is large?It doesn't hv torrent or p2p so i guess d so called unlimited data has been defeated, D truth is,bb's r very cheap phones,but due 2 d nigerian hype,d price sky rocketed, Many pple use less dan 10mb a month wit pinging and chatting,but dey still pay N3k per month.And as we all know,100mb is N1k per month on mtn bundles.So,4get d "belong 2 d bb class" stuff and be wise, Afterall,i believe dat we nigerians r very wise.

My close friend sold his HTC desire for BB Torch. Why? Because of the Instant Messaging. I said it before, most people bought bb because of the Instant Messenger. Without that, BB will have no chance in the market today.

Initially I was using a HTC never wanted to use  b/c I needed a phone dat cud also serve as a high speed modem for laptop browsing, dey also hav lots of free an wonderful apps, Its a geeks phone, with android its even best, u can dual booth, both android and WinMobile.

But de Blackberry thing is a Hardware & Software community communication platform, faster file sharing application like de bbm, for members in de  community. Providing seamless comunication means for the Business World.

why won't they sell it,

when phones like the Nokia N8, E7, and all the others are far more better.

except my company is willing to get me a blackberry, i don't think i need one. my nokia smartphones can do so much more.

^^Nokia is fast losing it's market share. They need to go back to the drawing board before HTC, Apple, RIM et al takes over their market.

Few years ago, I remember some people saying "I can never spend my money on laptop, what is so special about laptop ? Infact my Desktop at home is better than Laptop. Laptop is fragile, Laptop is this is that and so ooon"
Now it is blackberry. And some IT illiterates are saying they prefer smartphone. What is Blackberry. What is your definition of Smartphone I think Nigerians need to put more effort on computer studies as burrowed courses in the university these days.

The truth is so many people are using expensive phones (iPHONE, BLACKB) without knowing what their functions are. I can’t blame them, you have to choose your object of fashion. Some, it is car, some cloths, some house e.t.c. There is no crime in it.

Iphone is just another waste of money. Can you plug your Iphone to your printer and print from it ? Does your Iphone has an IP address? Some VOIP phone has IP address. Can your Iphone control your plasma TV at home ? I use my sony erricson K7501 to control my Home thearther at home. Can you use your iphone to route data between two other devices ? Some Huwei Modem phones are doing it.

If your answers to these questions is No…….then Iphone is just like BB. Applications (Illussions created by we programmers) on Iphone are only more than that of blackbery. They are both Junks. None is better than the other.

Well i would be glad if Nigerian can welcome both Iphone and Android phones into the county, My last visit to Nigeria am using my Iphone to monitor all my businesses and without need to Turn on my laptop. There are lots of Great Applications in Both Phones that Nigerian needed the most, I read a post yesterday about Some1 complaining about reason to use Mtn in nigeria. There are free unlimited calling and sms application Even pinging too much to mention Far better than BB rubbish. There are Unlimited Video Calling, Talking about battery life, Extra Fast Fully charging and long lasting use, If you all need those Application , I will be happy to drop them for you . Try Iphone and Curse my mother if regretting using it. lol

Well too bad i on the other hand just dumped nokia for BB, I used to be a nokia fanatic, owned only em phones E71, E73, E75, N95, N96, N97 etc to name a few until i got BB torch'd n even without an active BIS this phone head still dey there, I will never ever change my phone for anything else but Blackberry! Iphone is a kids phone to play games and stuff and thats not my bread and butter! Android, doesnt have the security im looking for plus its made by Google the biggest leechers of personal infos in the world! Therefore, NO WAY!!!!

using a phone depends on what you feel you can best get out of it. if iPhone is your catcher you go for it, if blackberry trips you most fine, if nokia is it for you cool, you dont need to start making these phone look less important that another.

It is a choice stuff.

In Nigeria it cost N3000, for a month subscription but in Uk with just £5 (pounds) equivalent to N1000 @N250-£1, you pay for a month subscription.

To be honest i think its been hyped in Nigeria well enough, although i used it here, but when i hear from a friend in Nigeria saying he needs money for next month subscription, it kinda pisses me off, or a student still dependent on pocket money feeding his blackberry with N3000 monthly, that to me is waste. If its used to belong, well, while its a choice, there are sure other very important stuff that could be done on blackberry.

My blackberry phone i gat now keep me doing stuff when not on my laptop, but doesnt mean am tied to it.

Pple have talkd so much abt all zis fone stuff, their fingers must be sore by now. As for me, I like da blackberry cos it's difrnt. It's 9ce hw da manufacturer's made it to compress data in its display and stuff but I prefer a badt symbian fone anyday. Take da nokia C7 for instance. Just da feel is smtg to thnk abt, S3 OS, then talk of 8MP camera and other specs (although I use a C5 which is pretty cool fone as well).
