Good one...its a warning,so who hear this kind warning nd still decide to try nd see like a typical naija man only has himself to blame...
Sometimes Nigerians need steel hands to obey instructions...

You got it. Just a threat and I m sure he will have lesser people to chase out of the street today because nobody will dare the risk of losing his/her property. I m dissapointed that many didn't realise this and they started blaming woke. Is this not where lagos and many Nigeria state missed it which lead to the partial gain from the last lockdown?

I really need to comment on this. First off, if you don’t live in rivers state; pls pls pls shutd4kup. Secondly, you can call him names or whatever but he’s one of the best governors rivers state has produced so far. The people calling him names and saying he is wicked are the reason Nigeria is sinking deeper into the “Rona” quicksand. You all should go and read about how china dealt with the virus and you’d understand why they insist on using draconian measures. It’s a shame that Nigeria as a country would be a massive grave yard because of the virus, and all those protesting the lockdown and screaming fraud here, fake numbers there, I’m sorry to say you haven’t experienced any lockdown yet. The worlds economies will pick up and life restored to almost normalcy and then our true lockdown would start and trust me; no governor or leader would need to tell you dumb asses to stay d4k indoors or wear a mask or wash your hands or maintain social distance, people will drop like flies in Nigeria, from the facts the world has presented and research of how Rona works, it’s new complications which are too numerous to mention and I just found out today it’s got new symptoms in kids, yes kids who make your life worth every bit of living, and then the different strands that the virus has; up to 4 strands, not to speak of the second wave which is highly predicted or the possibility of getting reinfected, lol, you all live in a country whose environment is better described ‘filthy’ for lack of better words, no fumigation, no common sense, greedy bastards leading and stealing your money daily in the name of audio projects etc, I keep laughing cos it feels like I’ve seen the future and feel sad knowing it’s inevitable because of illiteracy on the part of Nigerians, it hurts to say the north especially Kano would surpass mind boggling numbers from Rona deaths, the government would cry out for help in coming months, international help is what I mean and then the true numbers will surface and all who have been doubting if this is real or make belief will shed tears on a daily due to ignorance which will cost the lives of people close to them, Draconian measures is the only way in Nigeria to curb the spread and rivers state has one of the best chances, I’m sorry to say Nigeria would hit its peak between September and November. I pray we still have a Government by then, and please don’t say God this or God that, the Bible makes it very clear that faith without work is dead, do your bit and have faith else doomsday would be in December 2020.
You obviously lack knowledge on how China dealt with the virus. How did Taiwan, a country that shares border with China prevent it?
The problem with your comments begin with the glorification of your Wike. Really pathetic. So Wike is your ideal leader? Sometimes, accepting being a Nigerian is worse than cancer. To you, a government that will ensure lockdown without a sustainable provision for the masses during the lockdown is the best thing that can happen to Nigeria. I know you'll say he gave "garri", he gave " fufu". Is that sustainable for the period? Did he bounce to the street like he's doing now to make sure it goes round?
And to think you said the country is dirty and ignorant. Who told you some parts of China are free from dirt, filth and congestion, yet there's no record of the virus in those parts?
However, you got one thing right. Your prophecy of doom! Indeed, if we don't work on our vaccine or our own way of containing the virus that will accommodate the masses, doom may come. Only that, if you like, lockdown for a year or lockdown in a coffin, you are not safe. And that leaves no one out.
I know you are bitterness, pessimism, frustration, anger and ignorance rolled in one person, so, I'll be expecting your caustic reply.

cheesy

People defending Wike when he does stuff like this against political opponents are suddenly seeing how “wike d” he truly is. grin

Your governor’s claim to good governance is just by playing the blind opposition. Since no covid largess was given to him, he has started to act up. Yesterday it was caverton and mobil. Today it is market women and other rivers people.

Enjoy.

His wickedness and stubbornness is the reason we still have only 17 Covid 19 cases in Rivers state. If only our federal government was as proactive as Wike we wouldn’t find our self in the situation we are today. Nigerians are naturally disobedient and only understand force

Wike is confused. People like Wike don't even know if there are existing protocols for punishment of offenders. He now thinks he is the Alpha and Omega.

Was it not Wike that said he was relaxing lockdown during Easter so that xtians can celebrate? This singular act shows that he doesn't even understand the reason for the lockdown in the first instance. Now, he is overdoing it. A confused leader will definitely confuse his people.

Story!!! Be writing grammar, if the people are so stubborn to obey simple order and simple instructions, don't blame the gov for.taking a drastic measure.

We all are blaming Buhari cos he refused to close the airports on time, this gov is proactive now, you all are speaking in grammar... If you are in PH... Go out o and be speaking grammar on NL

The governor is an action governor, but in this case,he has failed it. He cannot take such decision, just because of lockdown, no,no no, Mr Governor. What I think should be done is to punish or they pay a fine to the government of Rivers State.

Mr Governor sir. Even though the pple ve committed an offence nd u ve punished them by impounding their cars, to further now auction their cars is anti pple. Pls sir don't b beclouded by ur status as d Governor, don't make life more difficult for pple u swore to serve! Pls sir let d wisdom of God prevail nd release their cars, and all glory shall return to God Almighty who put u there to represent the pple. Let's His words of forgiveness over shadow all other intentions.

God bless u nd Nigeria!!
