I doubt it. The man had reached the zenith of his career as MD/EiC of the Sun Publishing Group. The only position higher than that is that of publisher. Without ever meeting Buhari, Femi had always written to support him through his column when many other journalists were writing against him because of his infamous Decree 4. I think the only other journalist that did same was Dele Shobowale. Now Buhari is not a person who forgets a good deed very easily nor does he forget a bad deed. That is why no one, not even our delectable Aisha, can convince him to get rid of Femi Adesina, talkless of Professor Gambari. Try and recall how when he was sick, they attempted to get rid of his photographer and the President personally asked him to be brought back. Femi's job is not threatened by Gambari's appointment. I would just hope he gets something else after this administration because the guy is a damn good journalist. I don't think any journalist has been privileged to speak for a President for up to 5 years in our country.

PS: In future, it would be more sensible to have a PR person as a Presidential spokesman; career journalists do not necessarily have to be given this position. Lauretta Onochie and Abike Dabiri would have done the job better than Femi.
