While the SW and the SS are enjoying seaports and even constructing many more, this is all the SE can do, they are relegated to 1 village riverport with a small warehouse and 2 forklifts, that's all.

Part of Azikiwe's legacy. Two cranes and an empty warehouse. This is what he should have developed while in power. He was instead struggling with Awo over rights to develop Yorubaland.

This Onitsha legacy will be inherited when Biafra becomes reality. Whenever that is....

It's actually a DNA, generational and cultural thing because even the lazy generations after him are into the same blind and idiotic obsession with Yoruba land, just imagine the village people ranting all over the place that they developed Yoruba land, that they developed own Lagos and even that they are 70% of the population in Lagos even though they were running around in loincloths in their villages when Lagos was being developed by Yoruba people.

It's really a general disease.

They can not even maintain and operate the village riverport sef, they still beg and beg the FG to cut the grass, to paint the warehouse, to dredge the river and so on, but they still want to beat chest and have you believe that they are the most superior race under the sun.

Sad..

Let me just tell you this, after Kogi in Nigeria and up to part of Niger Republic, the River Niger is hardly navigable from then on. The river becomes much more narrow and no longer deep. Also the topography changes ensuring no ship can sail there. That's why the countries of Senegal, Mali and Niger don't talk about it.

But of course he didn't know this, just shouting and shouting and talking rubbish like he's in mama put joint. Tweh!

Thanks a lot!
I never knew this.

Even if it's one forklift when the time comes it will be fully utilize, and be expanded, River Port of Vienna handle 12 million tons of cargoes in annual traffic, I trust Igbos, it's not having the longest coastline, it's being industrious, so far Igbos have access through River Niger and Azumini just forget, what should worry Yorubas now if Nigeria cease to exist, electricity power, your people in Kwara, and the afonjas in Yoruba land not Igbos

Port of Vienna is one of the River ports along Danube River channel

We are talking about the SE here in Nigeria, not Viena, iboland is not Vienaland.

1 small village warehouse and 2 forklifts are your true realities here in Nigeria.

Btw, since your unintelligent brother cluelessly opined that you are not landlocked, how come you haven't built that seaport?

You are dumb to know developing ports and it operation solely on exclusive , only FG have the power, the port has been completed for years now, Igbos are still waiting for the port to be gazette and place as final destination for cargoes, trust me If Igbo man today have access to power his first project will be dredging of River Niger and Imo River, no average Igbo doing business in Lagos and environs enjoy the stress in Lagos.

Even though many states are funding and building their own ports?

You are dumber than dumb, typical SE infantile and FG dependent thinking, you need the FG to do everything for you, you want the FG to brush your teeth for you, to tie your shoes for you, to build everything for you even though you beat your poor and shallow chest every day that you are the riches, the smartest and the most superior race on the surface of the earth.

What else do you need, container load of FG Similac baby food?

Mention the states dumb

Let's start with Lagos state and before you return with another dumbo nonsense about who else is involved or add their own 1 kobo to invest in the largest deep seaport in West Africa, Lagos state, private investors and the FG joined funds together, but the question is, have you approached the FG to request approval or assistance to construct or operate a riverport?

The FG gave approval for Cross River state to construct the Bakassi Deep Seaport and last time I checked, the FG is not funding the project.

Edo state secured external funding for the Benin River Port.

Other states are making their own moves, they are not sitting around begging and begging for federal handouts they are not, crying, they are not demanding and playing the usual victim game.

Now, tell us all about the initiatives and the ideas you have touched forward to build any port or such infrastructures anywhere in the SE.

You are dumber than dumb, all you people do is pump your shallow cockroach chests, but at the end of the day, you are not only poo, you lack ideas, you lack vision and you can not do anything on your own without holding the FG to ransom or beg for Similac like little babies.

No, all you do is cry, beg and beg, demand and demand, you can not initiate anything, you can not come up with ideas or vision.

Funny enough, they are even waiting for the FG to tell them what to do, how and when to use their village riverport when n fact you can build your own and do whatever you want with it.

Lagos State did not sit around or beg the FG to build Lekki Ikpyi bridge over federal waterways, they went built the bridge with their own money and they are doing whatever they want with the bridge, they tolled the bridge to fund other projects in Lagos state.

When it's time to do shakara and beat their narrow chests, they are number 1, but when t comes to do something, they are all of a sudden victims and they depend on the almighty FG to spoonfeed them like babies,.

Which port in Lagos

Four of them

There was Iddo wharf. This was where the Benin camp berthed when they sailed to Lagos. Pre Colonial rule.

There was Lagos wharf and later port. Popularly called Quay side on Marina. Pre and during colonial.

There was Palma port. Kosoko relocated trade with Portuguese from Lagos Wharf to Palma.

There was Apapa port. During colonial.

This author is clever by half
South east is land locked but they can access the sea via negotiations with region with ocean access
Or outrightly conquer the region with military force

No amount of international laws can make se not be land locked

Hahahahahaha... grin grin grin

The colonialists in partnership with Lagos signed a treaty in 1861....and it was done aboard a ship.

So if there were no ports or wharves, where did Beecroft and Bruce put their ship in 1861 when they invited Dosunmu aboard to sign treaty of Lagos?
