It appears some women now accused men falsely of rape just to trend.

As far as I'm concerned, I'll say it's ryt that such false accusation be given a verdict of imprisonment since that's the intention of the accuser. After all, what goes around comes around.

If a man is accused and later there is evidence beyond reasonable doubt that he's innocent, then the woman should face some sort of Punishment that should not necessary be Jail.....the reason why i'm saying this is so that violated women won't be Afraid to speak out for fear that the case might end up against her....

Even the Christian book says that if an accused person is found innocent, then the accuser should be served the punishment that awaited the accused.

There should be no room for sentiments when someone's life and future is at stake.

I understand.
But things like this must not favour everybody.
The law can never be perfect although we have to try to make it perfect by disregarding sentiments even when such sentiment is with genuine intentions.

This guy is lucky. Many INNOCENT men have been sentenced to death and have been executed for rape crime the were falsely accused of.

The false accuser should be served the same punishment that should have been served to the innocent.

It should be jail like 10years, so they can ruin a mans life and not face any consequences when they are caught, let them see jail for 10yrs and know what they were trying to pin on the man

I would prefer same jail sentence the accused would have served. Some women are toxic and terribly wicked, always wanting to bring men down. 90 percent of women in Nigeria are Misandrist. Losers
