The plate is use for special serving when visitors comes . then the tray was use to select stone and dirty from rice( Ekpoma rice comes to mind) .This was Back in the days before we started having Thailand / Indian clean rice .Those were the good old days .
Anyway I like the clean rice that we presently have but I prefer the nice aroma of our old rice back then.

Jollof rice with fried goat meat or stew rice is always sweet on that plate.

During Xmas we always receive foods from neighbors with that plate. Good old days. No worries
Which jollof rice . Fufu with oha soup sure pass with those plates abeg, chaiiii how time fly

We had both. But the tray was used for slicing vegetables (ugu)
