The police should down tool and the governor should make a direct complain to the president and inform him about how those soilders behave . there can't be two government in a state and if a soilder can say he doesn't care about your democracy . I suspect he is a boko haram apologist or something worse.

How will the president of a whole country , a governor give an order and you just feel that you can't obey it. If the presidency doesn't address it now with strict penalty, the next one will be worse.
Good luck to nigerians
Didn't you read the post. They don't care about your useless democracy.

The soldier who said he "doesn't care about useless democracy" should be identified, tried for treason and and executed. This is very important. No country jokes with this kind of nonsense.

The remaining should face court martial, be dismissed, prosecuted and jailed for life.

You do understand that the military only upholds democracy, but is not ruled by it?

That is not treason, treason is trying going against a senior officer, the president included since he is the commander of the military,

useless democracy, the foolish leaders failed to put into consideration that Bornu State is a war zone, and they mounted barricades against citizens including soldiers.

It's obvious a lot of us don't read. From the story, u will understand that the soldiers are trying to avoid a potential attack in the travelers that have clustered in that check point. Boko haram could see them as potential target and strike them. Just as they did some months back when they attacked passengers waiting for military escort before continuing their journey.

On this issue, the soldiers did the right thing

That's what happens when cultist take up uniform as army. And when you have a president whose tone and body language encourages the army to disrespect civilian authority.

Damnnnnn niggarrr
To bad

See me be don dey pump before to insult soldiers
But as i see this response from the commander my body calm down

"Damnnnnn the garrison commander also said that the officer commanding the soldiers that violated the restriction order said they acted based on the fact that incoming travellers that were trying to escape the committee had gathered at a location, and the soldiers were worried that they could come under attack by Boko Haram insurgents. Hence they led them into the state."
me sef calm down on reading that part. From my understanding, the soldiers have to lead them into the city since they were stranded and the covid19 commtee won't let them into the city even though we all now know its a scam in Nigeria so the soldiers could not have left them vulnerable to boko haram attack as they were gathered there. Kudos to the gallant soldiers

Sorry I can blame the soldiers that was how Boko Haram pretend to be a preacher we know what ends it few days back so no gathering should be allow in Borno for now.

The soldiers can not take chances that state is on red alert so no dulling in the name of Convid whatever.

Re: Soldiers Attack Borno COVID-19 Committee, One Dead by adecz: 8:57pm On Jun 13, 2020
The same thing happened on a
bridgehead linking nassarawa
& benue state a few days back.

A truckload of soldiers came to cross
the bridge & refused to be subjected to
the routine temperature check.

The MOPOL & SARs insisted the undergo
the test; a scuffle ensued & shots were
fired...

Our soldiers see themselves as above
the law until they come face to face
with Boko haram.

Look at a General begging after Fashola arrested his vehicle in Lagos.
The Military is not ruled by democracy but who decides who or what heads the military? Is it not a democratically elected leader?

Forget this useless talk.

Lol! This part got me laughing and reminds me of a debate topic during my secondary school days "Military government is better than Democracy".

I'm in support of the above topic
