I have been in that situation before those day I worked with PACK n SHOP V/I. As the supo my boss asked me to select 10 persons out of 13 persons to work wit me. if u c the way they all looked at me with fear, I almost cried in their present. I could not select. few minutes later I came back and ask dem to discuss and choose among themselves dat I can't pick out anyone..they did, before they left...it was realllll....emotional.

Then you create value -- not just monetary but in people + resources.

I understand there's a need to balance his previous actions against this current trend/ news. I respect that. I respect his business acumen and prowess.

However it doesn't take away the gloomy future 3000 workers and their families face now.

That's the issue at hand not his past glories.

Laying off 3000 people with 2 days notice is not done. There may be weak application of labour laws if any exist... In Nigeria.. But that's not due process!!

I wonder how this will sit with his board members... Its NOT all about money !!

There should have been transparent continuous efforts on the part of management to minimize this significant loss of human potential.

Basic Wealth should be distributed to all equally (proletariat) and not only to the greedy bourgeoisie that want to acquire everything they don't even need in their lifetime.
