What is he saying? Can he stand Osague Ize Iyamu if given the PDP Gubernitorial ticket? The only person as at today who can give APC a run for their money is Obaseki.

But honestly loyalists who have been loyalists for decades in pdp should fly ticket

Both Airhavbere, ize iyamu, ogiewonyi that that made governorship flagbearers and ministers have at one point betrayed pdp when the going was bad.

Members who have been consistently waiting for years should naturally be looked at
na by loyalty or by who can win elections

If he's that popular, he should go and contest on YDP's platform, must it be PDP?

No problem, let them test their popularity at the primaries... Nobody should go to court thereafter.

What if you lose the party's primary to Obaseki? For a truth, it would be unfair to ask him to step down. Let him go ahead with the primary and let the will of the voters be done(that's if that is still a thing in Nigeria)

Which will are you talking about bro! Obaseki will buy votes to himself, I can't see the man no matter his popularity toppling Obaseki, all the state resources are in his hand and decides who get what, when and how

What if Obaseki is an APC mole sent to destroy PDP? What if this whole drama is nothing but a staged script and Oshiomole, Ize Iyamu and Obaseki are working together? Now real war is about to start in Edo PDP primary, fight to finish, to destroy themselves. Whereas Edo APC candidates have already started stepping down for themselves for a consensus candidate.

You are talking trash. How can a seating governor be used as a mole and axed out of the party just like that? Have you seen a stupid non ambitious governor like that in Nigerian history. And why do they need a mole when they are in power both at state and federal level. Think before you talk man

the screening is to thwart the fake screening process the APC conducted which disqualified Obaseki previously

The issue is not winning the primary can he match POI, he's still very young and should step down for Obaseki. Looking at the political permutations it favours OBASEKI, cause he only has one term left Edo central will support him over whemly, Edo South will also support him, vote in Edo North will be divided cause it is also a stronghold op Philip Shuaibu the deputy Governor

that N50m (if available) will be used to mobilize resources on ground for the primaries andlection proper not to give to one man that is eating burger and farting uncontrollably in his rented apartment in London

my brother, chi chi e no go get

if he was wise knowing that he is not around and seeing the goodwill the governor is enjoying and the way the party members and youths gravitated towards the governor, he will release a statement that he is stepping down for the governor and when election is over the party knows what to do for him - all this empty talk will not work for him

Obaseki is crushing Oshiomole 100-1, that is Oshiomole with a name in Nigerian politics talkless of one small Imasuangbon

Obaseki as of today is the leader of PDP in Edo State and he knows what to do and Imasuangbon will be happy when he returns

So painful. Imasuagbon must have been banking on Obaseki's failure as a governor and his sudden disqualification by the APC board.

However, Obaseki's popularity has been boosted by the saga and garnering unprecedented sympathy.

But I still think a Obaseki will bring about the downfall of PDP in Edo state (if he wins) as APC will adopt the tactics used by PDP to claim the gubernatorial seat in Bayelsa

How? Obaseki has no issue with being over qualified .
