I will feel attacked and I will fight back by going public to defend the allegations and challenging him to provide evidence. But of course in this part of the world people in public office will rather use the security operatives and silence opposition. If not that the said blogger is in the US he would’ve been arrested longtime and given the Sowore treatment. Why not go to the US and sue him to court? Because we know that’s where true democracy is practiced.

Journalism has ethics and you don't have the right to just publish anything that defames the character of another, whether public or private officials.

And the general principle in law is that he who asserts must prove. Jackson Ude will had to prove that he is not lying in his publications.

The Vice President feel someone had maliciously raised a weighty false allegations against him. He has the right to challenge this crime LEGALLY which he has done by petitioning the Police to investigate the matter and charge the suspect ,Mr Jackson Ude to court.

Whether Jackson Ude is in California, Japan or Morrocco doesn't matter. The police can write to the INTERPOL and arrest and extradite him to face his charges in court.

If he can prove it in court that Magu actually gave the Vice President #4Billion and he will be free. Nigerians will even hail him as a defender of the massses and the new anti-corruption activist.
