The court cannot hold both equal and adjudged that he lied. Even if the court go that, route, what was his motive of lying that he graduated in 1976 vs 1979? Was there anything to be gained or was it a mere memory lapses?

I think this case is just to rattle Obaseki and/or Shaibu if indeed they did something funny. Other than that, its just merry-go-rounding for the following reasons:

-The case is past 2 weeks the date of the PDP Primaries, hence cannot qualify as a pre-election case (unless we follow Ekwo's reason on Nwosu).

- If its brought as a civil or criminal case, the Governor and his deputy have immunity so are under no obligation to attend proceedings or even enter appearances. The case will however amount to nothing until they no longer have that immunity.

- This case, one way or the other, would have come up at the tribunal where the real case lies.

So, the elections and then the TRIBUNAL (if Obaseki wins) is where I am looking towards.
