I get your point. My question is INEC make public the forms submitted which day? The court will surely tell us if the case is filled late or not.

That is just it.the action of inec publishing those details gave birth to this case

Deepthoughts:
I use to think that olanipekun is a principled lawyer n personality but now I can see I'm wrong, when Apc/Buhari are desperate for legal victory alt all cost they quickly cosy up to him after which he is relegated to the back ground, it's like they have realized that he is just an unprincipled greedy person who can always be easily swayed by the right monetary enticement.

So because he took this case,he is now a bad lawyer? What is the primary aim of lawyers

Obasaki is just wasting his time...even if he wins , supreme court will nullify his election. First he attended apc primaries in which his record with Inec was printed out . His nysc says obasak which is different from obasaki. He ought to 've corrected the abnormally before contesting . He implicated himself by using same document to attend apc primaries . Having been disqualified because of inconsistency , he now submitted another nysc where he claimed it has been corrected ...he has to tell the world why after so many years of graduating and serving his father land , it is now he discovered he has error in the nysc...it takes disqualification for him to know that he needed to correct donkey years error ...what a lazy leader. We will be told the truth at the supreme court ...only if he wins

Before you answer the question on when this case was filed, why do you seem argumentative?

Are we fighting over anything?
You had better changed....you are a young man who have a whole lot ahead of him. Look at others who quote or are quoted...then correlate with your own statement.

The truth is I didn't read past your first two lines.
Stop mentioning me if this is how it will always go.....you can check my last quote before that.

Like I said, I don't know when this particular case was filed.
It obviously wasn't yesterday or today.
If we can even see the date, it will help... ejimatic.

...but INEC published names and details of aspirants on June 30.

Good.that is what we should be worried about not when primaries held...but if deadline for submission was 29,inec won't publish on the 30

My brother I've not done anything seriously
I couldn't cook today because of this same issues
Throughout yesterday I couldn't buy fuel inside car and work same issue too till now I can't login my bank app I can't withdraw

Very useless bank
I went to the bank on Friday, I got there around 7:50am and I was given number 3, only for them to open by 8a.m and waited till around 11 a.m telling us that there’s no network to do anything, imagine! All the staffs were just looking at each other, cracking jokes while we all were sitting down helplessly!
I’m withdrawing all my funds and closing that account anytime they bring the useless network! I have been humiliated enough!

What different qualifications did he submitted to INEC?

What he submitted during his first term where affidavits, stating the year he graduated, etc on the ground that he lost his certificates.

What he submitted now, are his true certificates after he might have found them and/or got replacements.

In the county of law, the rule of evidence usually consider the more reliable source. His actual certificates overrides what he stated in his affidavit. The court cannot hold both equal and adjudged that he lied. Even if the court go that, route, what was his motive of lying that he graduated in 1976 vs 1979? Was there anything to be gained or was it a mere memory lapses?

I think the scope of the court here will be to examine his currently submitted credentials if they meet the INEC provision and if they do the case will be strike out.

I think Tinubu had similar issues in the past, when someone accused him of increasing his age (date of birth). The argument by his lawyer then, was what does Tinubu hope to gain by increasing his age. I think the case collasped.

Ya...?

I think this case is just to rattle Obaseki and/or Shaibu if indeed they did something funny. Other than that, its just merry-go-rounding for the following reasons:

-The case is past 2 weeks the date of the PDP Primaries, hence cannot qualify as a pre-election case (unless we follow Ekwo's reason on Nwosu).

- If its brought as a civil or criminal case, the Governor and his deputy have immunity so are under no obligation to attend proceedings or even enter appearances. The case will however amount to nothing until they no longer have that immunity.

- This case, one way or the other, would have come up at the tribunal where the real case lies.

So, the elections and then the TRIBUNAL (if Obaseki wins) is where I am looking towards.

APC is fighting a lost battle if actually there is any case filed.

If, then we'll meet in court.

In the eyes of the Law, 2020 election is differnt from 2016 election.

This is section 285(9):

“Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this constitution, every pre-election matter shall be filed not later than 14 days from the date of the occurrence of the event, decision or action complained of in the suit”.

Mind the word EVERY.
I must have explained from a layperson perspective wrt to the Primaries.
Lokpobiri didn't challenge the holding of the APC primaries....he was asking the Court to declare him winner.

In this case, INEC form CF001 was submitted by all parties on June 29, 2020.

If I may ask, what is the cause of action in this case?

Lets even assume it fall as pre-election matter.

Someone submitted affidavit 2016.

Now submit original 2020.

UI, said hes their Student and graduated from UI, that he met all requirements for admision.

NYSC correct the Obasek to Obaseki.

APC said the signaturr is wrong.do they want the dead DG of NYSC to rise up from the dead to issue new certificates

Don't be like this.. the affidavit was everywhere last month. It was written boldly that he graduated in 1976.. And in 2016 the Dan orbih's chambers wrote to the Federal High court in Abuja and they deny issuing the affidavit.. The PDP lost the case because it was filled outside the 14 days as enshrined in the electoral act.
