Protest will turn extreme violence. And others will pay for it because they are well known to use the innocent lives as a deadly means to clap back in other to score points and achieve their fanatic aims..

-Zero tolerance and compassionate beings towards others.

They are probably Igbo traders... Since this is Nairaland, I know tribalism is very important to all of you, so for those thinking it is Hausa people protesting, it is probably not.

Which dirty ballot box? To vote in another clueless dumbfuck? Why do you think Russia is where it is today? We need to change this worthless system that favours the rich few.

What do you think would've happened if Buhari was voted out just like GEJ was?
Whoever comes after him will automatically sit up.
You can start d revolution with your family.

Yes, people said that we needed a revolution back in 1965 , and we got over ten years of bad Millitary rule plus a civil war which wrecked us.

Yes we said that back in 1983, and we got 15 years of army rule, and more problems.

Revolution does not change anything. It just replaces one set of elites with another set of elites

Democracy in Nigeria is a mess. It is also sadly better than Army rule or one man dictatorship in the name of a revolution.

Is that one revolution? A revolution properly done will work. The problem is that people lose sight of who the enemy is, the enemy of a revolution remains the oppressor, that is why the cry for revolution will never die because simply we are tired.

On Nairaland, I see commenters like this one calling for revolution all the time.

Yet, they do not go out there and actually do something about actualizing this revolution. They always hope that someone else would do it for them.

The funny bit about this commenter....he probably supports PDP or APC, the very same people he wants to rebel against

Back in the 1960s people like him were calling for revolution. And at the end of the day, we had decades of the same old stuff

Oga, if you want change, go and join a party or form a party and work within the system for change

Stop formulating here on this site.

And I put it to you you don't want revolution. You want a ready made job with a salary of 300000 naira per month. And an air conditioned office.
and what's your point exactly... New parties every day same old problem... We need a revolution

You don't need revolution which will surely involve bloodshed when there is ballot box.
Elections all over d world are about the lesser evil.
If we start voting out presidents after 1 tenure, the politicians will automatically sit up

Back in 1917, the Bolsheviks thought they had done a proper revolution. By 1991, it fell down in smoke.

The thing about democracy is that it means a lot of hard work. Change does not come overnight.

Canada where many Nigerians run to is developed because many people over time fought for their democratic rights through the democratic process. They did not give up easily.

In Martin Luther King Jr s last speech before he died, he commented that he 'may not get there with you' to his followers. That's how change in a democratic process works. Slow and steady.

We've tried the revolution path in Africa. And at the end of the day, it always fails. Let's try democracy, even this messed up democracy we have. I don't like PDP or APC, have never voted for either party and I wish that we had better parties, but I think our best chance of change is by working within this current system.

Remember the 1966 coup and the 1983 coup were popular coups on day 1. People truly thought revolution had come.

What are the aims of your revolution?

And what are you doing to actulaize your revolution apart from yarning on Nairaland?

Who is your ideological inspiration.?

How many people have you told about your revolution.

Am sure the answer to all these questions is none.

Go and form a party. Take the first step.

Why destroy people's businesses when u re looking for taxes as alternative to crude oil..

Why not Continue to discuss with those that are not in compliance with the law not to destroy their businesses..
