The case is dismissed. The prosecutor has to find stronger evidences for it to be pursued again. And I'm sure they've utilized all the evidence they got. This guy has a 60% chance of walking away from this.

No, it's not 50-50. They don't extradite people without serious evidence.

The court did not dismiss the case by itself.

The prosecutor asked for it to be dismissed with prejudice.

The defendant made a no case submission to it.

It is most probably for amendment of charges or a change of jurisdiction. It's not as if they are going to start an investigation all over again.
