Elder0001:Maybe, but even if she was raped by D'Banj, she should've gone straight to a hospital or the police instead of waiting so long. RIght now, it's his word against hers. Cases are not judged by sentiments but by hard evidence |

WizzyVine:To say the girl was 'intimidated' and the fine is 'outrageous' is VERY uninformed of you, considering the damage done to D'banj's NAME AND BRAND. The ex-manager's story will remain a mere tattle tale, with lack of surefire evidence to corroborate it. EVIDENCE OR NO CASE! My stand on this issue is not hidden. You try to present yourself as being unbiased, but your arguements betray where your tent is pitched. |

seanwilliam:If that happens then I will handle it the right way. Not like a guilty man by using police to intimidate and illegally detain my accuser. I was doubtful of the accusations at first myself but D’banj reaction screamed guilty in like 6 different languages. |

PerfectlyPerfect:it couldn’t have been proven as slander until after an investigation was done. A woman accusing you of rape is not slander until an investigation and trial has proven you innocent. Then you can sue for slander. It’s not your right to order police to arrest your accuser as soon as she comes out without any investigation just because you have money. If this was the case then no woman would EVER be able to speak out when she’s is raped. We always get things backwards in this country. |

slyfoxxjoe:D'banj paid police to detain Seyitan, then same Seyitan (who already has the backing of important personalities ready to back her up, financially, legally & morally) reaches out to D'banj to broker for an out-of-court settlement after D'banj files charges of defamation, releases a statement detailing happenings including the fact that she reached a Non-monetary agreement with D'banj & the fact that she (Not D'banj), reached out first to settle? Don't let me conclude that you're not intelligent. Give me the benefit of doubt 3 Likes |

Re: D’Banj Continues ₦1.5 Billion Libel Case As Seyitan Withdraws Petition by WizzyVine: 11:16pm On Jul 25, 2020 |
ObaKlaz: Dbanj's manager made a public statement about the matter. The statement implicated him. If he is sure of himself, he should sue his ex-manager for defamation, and character assassination. The truth is that, rape allegations are difficult cases to unravel, especially when the victim leaves a gap of many days before voicing it out. Since such incidences ocur in the absence of everybody, if the victim fails to shout and draw attention during the incidence, there's no way such allegations can ever be proven in the future. I'm a man with a name myself, I should pitch my tent with Dbanj who is also a man like me. That's the natural thing to do, but I pitch no tent with anyone. My stand is that justice prevails. |
Re: D’Banj Continues ₦1.5 Billion Libel Case As Seyitan Withdraws Petition by CzarChris(m): 12:11am On Jul 26, 2020 |
My opinion is simple, even though it might not matter much. D'BANJ should follow this case up to its logical conclusion, if she proves d'banj raped her, then he should face the music, if at the end of the day, it is proved beyond every reasonable doubt that she lied against him, either to gain popularity or blackmail him, then she should pay for damages or rot in hell. People should honestly start taking responsibility for their actions. If D'banj drops these charges against her, I will personally sue him for misleading the public and disregard for public trust. Someone must be used as an example, else this nonsense will continue. PS: I'm not joking about suing D'banj, I'll do it. |

ObaKlaz:never said suing is harassment. I clearly said D’banj had every right to address the issue through the courts, both criminal and civil. It is the use of police to intimidate and detain her that I consider harassment. You dig? |

Now he's being wicked and intimidating Because he sued her You're stupid and a glorified asshole . Justin Bieber even filed a lawsuit against his rape accusers . Police stated clearly that it was because of" lack of evidence" 1 Like |

Re: D’Banj Continues ₦1.5 Billion Libel Case As Seyitan Withdraws Petition by Nobody: 11:50am On Jul 26, 2020 |
Alanwalker: If you were not an slowpoke and illiterate you would have seen where I said: 1. D’banj has every right to sue and challenge her legally in court. He just doesn’t have the right to use police to detain and harass her illegally. 2. The same police who cleared him are the same police he had used to harass her. They were on his side from the start. Now if you cannot reply to a post that didn’t mention you I’m anyway without insult then just get lost. And take D’banj cock out your mout you worthless son of a street harlot. |
