I dated a lady way back in 2018, I can call her my first genuine love because I've always been a playboy, but I decided to repent immediately after my service year in 2017. Whenever we have little disagreement, before I know, my electronics are broken. I've lost count of the number of plates she broke. At a time, I started doubting my personality; Am I not tolerant enough? What else do I need to be a good guy despite showing her immense love n been patient with her. Let me share one of our funny but embarrassing moment with you, she had a rift with one of her friends and I asked if I could intervene in which she nodded in compliance. We went to the lady's house, settled the matter and as the lady was escorting us to the bus-stop, my babe dashed into a shop to get a drink for herself, I waited outside with her friend. Believe u me, we went home separately that day. She was like; what were you discussing with her in my absence? Why didn't you follow me into the shop? To sum it up, I went to meet her mom to know the rationale behind her uncontrollable anger, because I was so sure I've been patient, loving and tolerant to the extent that I'd found it hard to believe that I could be that gentle.
All in All, her mom told me she won't bless our union and that she knows her fiance already who resides in Dubai. I cried for a while and later moved on. Last week, I learnt she burnt her new fiance with hot pressing iron bcuz the guy went to club without her hoping that he would av cheated on her with another lady.
CHAI... I started thanking my star that I didn't end up with her. Sometimes we tends to love things that are bad for us, but God in his infinite mercy do save us from calamities.

I can remember after two years we path I still pray and wish she come back until I started meeting different girls but my mind is divided unable to patch together sef everything changed in 2016 when I met my wife ( intelligent, beautiful, loyal and twins,) she's opposite of that girl, well cultured , supportive , not attracted to social materials wealth, my eyes come open I keep thanking God that we separated every day ..

That it was my dad that died first! I kept thanking God for this every morning!

Back in 2014, i applied for nigeria army recruitment along with my friend, but i had already written jamb b4 then, while we were waiting to called to deport i got admission so i decided to forget about the army work and only my friend was recruited, less than 4 months after he was recruited he was transfered to bama and was killed in action few weeks latter. It was a very devastating news for me. but right now i look back and thank God for never letting me join the army.

I wanted to join Nigeria police after graduation out of desperation to get job but my sister discouraged me. Today I have a very much better job. Who knows what would have happened if I joined police...very risky and dirty job.

I found this odd. I get that you should be grateful for your life, but doesn't the misery of your mother's death outweigh the good from the situation? This ought to be a tragedy not something to really rejoice over.

I'm grateful for several things. The most being that my parents relationship didn't work out.
I'm grateful for the things that went wrong in my life also. Hard as it is to admit, they made me who I am today.
And I didn't start a relationship with a toxic nairalander. Thank you Jehovah

I thank God for helping me to graduate from the higher institution. I wanted to drop out and restart again but it didn't work out. I believe it was God that made it that way.
