jaxxy:I live in one of the streets off Osolo Way which is just about 3 minutes walk to where the accident happened. The whole neighborhood was thrown into serious panic when a very heavy and loud Bomb sounded at about 6.30 pm on Tuesday night. Everyone was confused as we didn't know where it came from and what caused it. Some people said it was an Electric transformer that got blown off. It was much later that we heard that it happened at a Gas shop at Inua Muhammad street off Afariogun street. It was already dark by the time we heard the details so I couldn't go there to check. 1 Like |

flokii: You will see people selling cooking gas every nook and cranny as if they are selling water! Govt should set up control agency to guide against this carelessness. Rip to the dead and quick recovery to the injured. |

flokii:The fact cooking gas is a potential bomb is enough reason its use and distribution should be regulated closely but what do we have? A govt that is so irresponsible waiting for avoidable deaths befofe pretending to be bothered, just like banditry causing havoc in the north with no tangible response by the govt (except when fulanis are victims). It seems NOA only get involved these days when an NGO is there to give them funds otherwise its mum. Visit any LPG plant and see the rusted expired cylinders on display. 2 Likes |

seborrhic: When comparing propane and butane, the most important differences come down to the boiling point of the gases. Propane has a boiling temperature of -42°C, whilst butane has a higher boiling point at -2°C. ... When stored as a liquid in a tank, propane also exerts a greater pressure than butane at the same temperature. |
