There is a way virtual games are programmed, a kind of algorithm that does some calculations based on the total amount staked on the various outcomes. The results that will yield the least losses and more gains to the bookmakers will always play out.
That's why sometimes it's good you take some crazy risks with small investment, very high odds will just play out if too many persons staked on a very likely outcome. The unlikely one will be favoured by the computer program that prevents them from loses

Good day, everyone.

Yesterday was one of the most confusing days for me. For a moment, I almost ran mad.

Two weeks ago, I didn't even know what betting was like. Never done it, never experienced it. I hardly knew what the numbers meant.

Fast forward to yesterday, Tuesday, 28 July, I was risking a client's money on a game I thought was 'a sure bet.'

It was an eSports game I've been following for a while. I knew the players involved were very skilled and could score for fun. They did so in over 10 successive matches last night. So I thought it was worthwhile betting they'd score at least 2 goals.

I tried to do so in three attempts, but didn't have the mind to follow through, only for the matches to end up with at least 3 goals or more.

Informed by this, I thought it was safe to go on ahead and play this one time. I did. Unfortunately, both matches didn't end like I had predicted.

Over 800k was gone in a flash. I couldn't believe it. Seeing the signs, I attempted a cash out while the match was still live but couldn't, as the option wasn't available.

You may wonder why I had to risk such a huge sum.

It's simple; think I got greedy. embarassed

However, my excuse was that I needed money to offset some bills. Faced with so much responsibilities, I thought winning over a million naira would go a long way in helping me take care of stuff since business hasn't been coming in so much. The tile money I used was my first business since March, before the lockdown.

But, of course, my greed overshadowed any excuse I could offer.

To all the young men out there, please, regardless of how sure you are, do not stake more money than you're willing to lose. I've been there. The allure of making it big sooner can be overwhelming, but don't risk it.

If you must, stake little sums and make future bets from your winnings.

cry cry cry

@I'm not sure whether this is the right place for this, but pls help push it to the front page so people can learn from my experience.
You Jones....that ain't no safe bet oo.....if I had that kinda money I'll do proper safe bet and spool 100mill in 10 months..

Funny enough, I went back o. I won 70k, as I needed to raise money to pay the client back. Although this time, the maximum stake was 10k. Wish I was less greedy as at the time I did.

Don't worry about the N880k. You have just entered the murky water of betting/gambling. Your concern should be how you are going to deal with more than N10m lifetime loss. Don't even for a second believe that you are going to stop this newfound love. Every degenerate gambler thought so too.

It can be quite frustrating when the team you're least worried about ruins your ticket.

Look at mine in the last day of Championship. I was not worried about Brentford at all based on my calculation. But they messed up. Would have won 310k if not for that game.

How do fixed games work, pls.I think it's scam.

Fixed games are the works of scammers.

There are a few true fixed games, but info like that is guided. They can't just get into the hands of just anyone.

To fix a game, coaches and the concerned referee are very likely to be the only ones involved. Maybe the players or some of them (like the goalkeeper) may be in the know.

But this info cannot get out so easily.

How many cases of fixed games has FIFA or any footballing association ever dealt with? This shows that many fixed games go unnoticed.

Now, another question is if these scammers truly have fixed games, how come they sell it for a few thousand naira when they can make millions by staking it by themselves?

If I know that 3 premier league matches have been fixed, will I sell them for 40k each when I can borrow 500k and stake on the games?

Now, imagine I have 20 fixed games. Why will I want to sell them?

Moreover, if these scammers truly have some fixed games, then they must have bought it with a lot of money. Real fixed games will cost a lot of money because a lot of bribery will have happened.

Let us say they want to fix Arsenal vs Chelsea match. A billionaire wants to stake on Chelsea, and he wants to win. He bribes the referee to make false calls against Arsenal and to give Chelsea at least 2 penalties when any opportunity presents itself. After that, to make sure that all goes well, he speaks with the Arsenal goalkeeper and offers him twice his salary for the week And to close the deal, he bribes all the match officials.

Now, tell me how such a fixed match will get into the hands of a random person in Nigeria without costing him a lot of money?

Apart from the fact that you don't understand sports betting, you also lack the logic and understanding behind a virtual/eSports events. You also don't understand how bookmakers/sportsbook fix their odds. Basically, bettors/gamblers/clients pay each other. The sportsbook do not lose otherwise they will fold up. They rob Peter to pay Paul all the time. Listen, the moment you drop that 880k on that event, the system was programmed to let it fail. Why? How? Because your money was too big for another client to pay you on that match and specifically on that event. The virtual/eSport was designed that way. You stood a better chance at winning on a real live match than a simulated/manipulated event. Good news, I am currently working on a system that can fetch anyone 80% of their investment in sports betting at the end of the month with a minimum of N10,000. I have made over 200 bets yet the system is infallible. Nairabet and Bet9ja might finally relocate las las. cheesy
