It doesn't move. But the bible didn't tell us that. For all we knew before Science, the sun revolved about the earth based on scriptural understanding... Funnily enough scriptural understanding changed when science showed us otherwise... Who would've thought.

The Bible didn't tell you that the sun doesn't move. It just said in a book in a verse that "the sun stood still". So if you and others including Christians misinterpreted that to mean that the sun moves or revolved round the sun, it's not the Bible's fault but yours and those who misrepresented that saying to mean that.

It's just like you as a person who knows that the sun doesn't move, saying "sunset" and others misinterpreting it to mean, you didn't know the sun doesn't move or said the sun revolves round the Earth.

By the way, such discoveries made by science you're talking about were spearheaded by Christians as well, just that they wasn't included in the Bible. If the Bible was a science book, considering that it had pioneering scientists as Daniel, I'm sure that it would have long been revealed before the time it was by science. But it wasn't because the focus of the Bible was not on science but spiritual things or God dealings with men.
