Seven women were found dead in a beauty salon in the Rijau Local Government Area of Niger State on Thursday, July 30.

The spokesperson of the state police command, Wasiu Abiodun, who confirmed this to newsmen, said the victims, two married women and five single ladies, had gone to the salon to make their hair in preparation for Sallah when they met their untimely death.

Eyewitnesses say the women died from inhaling fumes from the generator used in the salon. The area had experienced a heavy downpour that Thursday, which affected their power supply. In order to continue servicing her customers, the salon owner reportedly brought in a generator into the salon and closed the door. The women sadly inhaled the fumes, causing them to choke to death. Don't be surprised this might happened over night , even someone might lock them from outside for safety , one Xmas like that girls stayed overnight inside a saloon that was locked from outside around my area, they didn't know the risk they took , but they used candle , a lot of ways to die unknowingly.

We all know what they taught us in chemistry is what is in the books, not necessarily what is noticeable.

Or you've forgotten how you'll see a colour during those Chemistry experiments, and they will tell you it's another colour?

From personal experience, If you stay close to a generator exhaust (or any carbon monoxide exhaust) for a while, there's no way you won't feel pepperish/uncomfortable sensations in your Nose and eyes.

Are you telling me none of them have this uncomfortable feelings while the room was been filled by the generator fumes?



Perhaps, they all felt uncomfortable, but acted too late.


But even at that, thorough investigations is still needed.
