Wakama101: You've said nothing but the truth. We hype mediocrity in this country too much. I worked and lived in Eket for 3 years and still visit Uyo from time to time so I can never be fooled by these media hype. Though compared to the late nineties, the town has seen some massive infrastructural development befitting of an oil producing state. 1 Like |

Karozy: I'm almost sure you're still a secondary school or an undergraduate student still being fed, clothed and sheltered. Nobody is stopping anyone from building anything, but when you build churches from taxpayers money at mind-boggling amounts while denying them development, then there's a problem. A supposedly secular state does not have business building worship centres from Public Money. Places of worship everywhere, but evil, and retrogression waxes stronger. Governments should be concerned with creating favourable environment for business to thrive and improving general living conditions. Something the Akwa-Ibom government (and her contemporaries) is grossly failing at. The money the state received in a year is enough to transform the state into very good place to live but no, with the support of maleducated dimwits, the state will rather spend money to impoverished the very people it's meant to uplift, cruel irony! Meanwhile, you grossly lack manners for you to insult peeps you've never seen, and cannot even stand in their presence. Learn some manners! And lastly, National Mosque Abuja was built with donations while Obasanjo forced States to cough out money to build the National Church Abuja. 1 Like 1 Share |

They wont hold their governors responsible for the under development in their states but will masturbate on a state that is far better than theirs. Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo are the most developed states in Nigeria. Uwa afet. 1 Like |

In thesame state, if we check well, many of them have not tasted Milk or Milo in the last six months. That's why they eat snake and every creeping thing to satisfy their protein deficiency. Some of them have not taken breakfast by 12noon daily. Nigeria has very stupid leaders as well as followers. Followers born leaders. When it was time for Corona Virus palliatives sharing, rich nations with high income per capita went extra mile to share dollar and pounds palliatives with cheque payouts. But the leaders in this country were doing media paparazzi with sharing palliatives that never got to 5% of the total Nigerian population. Visit their states, you will see abandoned projects up and down worth billions of naira both budgeted and dispensed, yet people are dieing from hunger inside thesame states.. They have raised fuel price so fast, they find that so easy and told tenants to give them 6% of their rents. One man yesterday was blaming politicians for our national woes, I told him it's not a political problem, it's a character problem. Nigerians are untrained, therefore behave like Animals in a zoo. I tot I was discussing with a human being because 30minutes after giving this man my phone number, the text I received in the phone is this, If you have not received your N35,000 Corona Virus palliative, call this number.. In my mind I was like, see the same man blaming politicians for Nigeria's problem. 1 Like |

White elephant project and a totally unnecessary one at that..it's sad that religion has being politically weaponised in the state. This is the most misguided project I have ever seen or heard.Mr Udom really messed up with this one.
