Good point except i will replace dettol with epsom salt.
Cut nails regularly, Soak foot in water and epsom salt once a week. Use pumice stone take scrub off the dead skins. Towel dry and rub coconut oil on them. If no coconut oil use shea butter. If no shea butter use red oil but please abeg you make sure you dont have rat in your house otherwise you wake up minus few toes. Im serious.

I'm not a doctor, but I believe she must have gotten the infection from walking barefooted most of the time.

Hello doctors in the house, for a while now, my sister has been complaining of pain in her toe,
Initially I suspected it was "Athlete foot disease", she applied Some topical creams and the pain disappeared.

Not long ago, she started complaining of the pain again and it was worse than before. The pain was excruciating, most times, my sister wakes up crying

Doctors and pharmacists in the house, kindly help me check this out, pictures are attached below. The toe is also swollen. Help me diagnosis and effective medications please.

(PS: I still suspect it's Athlete foot disease or Onychomycosis, but I need better knowledge from the doctors in the house. Thank you)

It looks like in-growing toe, in some cases the nail growth will continually pierce the in toe flesh, a friend who had it ended up removing d toe nail completely n constantly treated it against infection, such toes doesn’t like covered shoes or barefoot walkabout n water, it must be kept dry at all time wt clean cotton wool wt antibiotics capsules powder, such a pain in the ass
