Dear Vivian,

I have watched you over times and I must confess, you are phenomenal, erudite and charming, my words fail me, but permit me to call you, "Ahudiya" do me the honor to make me forever the found rib, the evergreen joy of a new day, please marry me.

My ears itched, I wore a smile like a crown and laughed out loud like one who is hopelessly romantic and then stretched out my hands and said YES to my own super human, greater than all men that existed and blessed beyond the wildest thoughts of the human race .

He slotted the ring on my finger and left me admiring the piece of metal, with a diamond head, so beautiful to behold, there after the celebration continued.

In that joyous mood, i retried that night and it beckoned on me that I said yes to a soul to be his everyday muse, his everything through and through, the wife of his youth, the mother of his children, the'' bubugaga'' of his worries, the support of his pillars and the strength that makes him a man

Wild thoughts engulfed my mind, reality sets in, then the questions starts pumping in my head , I sat up on my bed and came out of myself to ask myself some questions about this thing called marriage.

Oh, there are so many phase, troubles and joys of marriage, but the fears that comes with it are just not nice and gives one cause for worry, I pulled off the ring and decided to ask it some questions, hope I get answers.

... Will you be faithful?
... Will you change ?
.... Will you always be there?
.... Will you still love me despite all odds
.... Will you, will you, will you?..

The ring kept steering at me in the darkness of my room, the brightness of the diamond stood out, I asked if he would be shinning to me all through our marriage.

Society has made marriage an achievement , let me remind you, if you are not married , you are seen as a failure, ill-responsible and never good for anything in life.

So annoyingly, most especially to the woman fold, if you don't marry, it is assumed that you have a bad character, and as a man, if you haven't married is assumed you are just not responsible, again poverty is the test of a good wife and as a man for you to attract a good woman you have to pretend to be poor, there by making the women fold materialistic and as such gullible.

I have seen souls who never married and they are the custodians of our time , they affect lives positively, using their time and resources to better the life of people around them which most married people can't achieve in their life's time.

I ask again, since good women with best character marry, why then do we still have divorce today?

Since most men pretend to be poor to attract the good wives, why then do we still have divorce today?

Sorry, I forgot this part, we see love birds, date for years and do every thing in love, marry, have kids and BOOM, they divorced still.. ''Ije uwa''

This diamond in this metal keeps shining into my eyes and I still wondered how far my thoughts raced , meanwhile lee boo is somewhere smiling that I said yes to him but what if I can't go on?

Aww.. he will label me a heart breaker, what if he doesn't stand by his words and what if I changed too?

I heaved a big sign , took a very deep breath and closed my eyes, wore my ring , held on tight to it and said a prayer .

Dear God, I just told the most important person in my life now, a very big yes, I know you are aware already, because I have asked of him a long time, according to your words in Isaiah 34:16, help us to fulfill purpose so that we both can lead each other to heaven's gate and be a model to others in this thing called marriage .. Amen.

Oh, I just fell in love , its love up, am my own woman crush..

On this thing called marriage I really need to clear the waves,

Until you lend the due respect to "that thing called marriage" you may not reap its desired benefits.

Marriage is an institution where no man or woman ever graduates. You must work to make it work. Just as you give your best at work to earned a living, you must as well do for the marriage to earned you the desired benefits.

Don't call it this thing; it is derogatory!
