spykid014: If you already have the visa go ahead. I dont see the dollar falling anytime soon. Etihad that used to be pocket friendly is 230k now. You can try KLM too. Or check www.travelstarts.com |

chloe7: Well different people with different opinion. My friend who is inviting me in August, always commend Etihad for professionalism. I think the ish with them is the long layover. |

chloe7: It's unlikely to come down...for July Etihad is 230k when other airlines are quoting 400k plus. For September/October Etihad is still 230k while the closest airline is 239k...make of this what you will. spykid014: Never flown them before. Qatar Airways is always my preferred option if not using BA or Iberia. What's this Dubai-Connect you speak of? Zelinjo: ITA Matrix 1 Like |

mosesadeotan: The only requirements to interview for the U.S. business/tourist visa (B1/B2) is a DS-160 confirmation form that you will get from filling out the online application, and your passport. Each application is reviewed individually based on the particular circumstances of the case. The best advice anyone can give you is to honestly answer the questions that the VO asks you. 8 Likes |

thegreengooner I flew Qatar in 2013 and I was complaining, infact when I followed etihad I knew that Qatar is much better I must say, or BA which is always my first option, it was kuku awoof ticket that pushed me to follow etihad. |

Never flown them before. Qatar Airways is always my preferred option if not using BA or Iberia. What's this Dubai-Connect you speak of? ITA Matrix[/quote] Dubai connect is offered by Emirates. When you fly with them and your layover in Dubai is over 8 hours for Economy and 6 hours for Business and First class, but not more than 24hours, they offer you a UAE transit visa, hotel accommodation, meal ticket and transport to and fro all free of charge! ... There are certain Ts & cs tho. Your base fare must not be less than $1000. You will be notified during your booking process if you qualify, and the you'll be advised accordingly. I'm in Love with Emirates, my first and only experience with them last year was Cc thegreengooner |

spykid014:the flight was like molue, really bad food, unsmooth flight all legs not comfortable at all. |
Re: Usa Visit Visa by thegreengooner(m): 10:03pm On Jul 05, 2015 |
chloe7: I just watched a documentary on discovery channel this evening that said most of the time airplane food tastes bad because of the air and pressure during the flight and that Lufthansa has to add up to 20% more curry and flavour in the meals to make it taste good at 30,000 feet. As for the unsmooth flight, when there's turbulence, there's turbulence. |

Hi everyone, a quick question. On the DS 160 form, there is a place on the form that reads spouse's full name (include maiden name) ---------------- Her passport still carries her maiden name. In the surname box..should i put both my surname and the maiden name in the space provided meaning putting two surnames there.... |
Re: Usa Visit Visa by LadyGuinivere: 6:31am On Jul 06, 2015 |
phemmy26:Yes. That is xactly what you do.Spouse Name+ maiden+ married surname in your own form |

LagosNIV: Hi everyone ive been a silent reader of the forum. my cousin just applied for a B1/B2 visa and she was denied. I was hoping she would come with me when I have my baby in the next few months. She really doesn't need to travel but i'm the one asking her to so she can help with my 2.5year old so I am her sponsor. She wasn't asked any questions just what her purpose was and where she had travelled to (Ghana and China) Im thinking maybe she should reapply! Any thoughts on this? |

chloe7: I don't understand what you just typed. Say again? |
Re: Usa Visit Visa by LadyGuinivere: 9:21am On Jul 06, 2015 |
Mum2bee:Reason it like this...a person who's willimg to drop everything to escort her cousin to birth obviously has no serz tie in Naija. You are sponsoring her. Why won't she follow the nextbperson in the US that will offer her a job? That's why her interview was short. So unless she has another reason to travel plus evidence of ties, there's no point in binning your kudi 1 Like |
Re: Usa Visit Visa by Mum2bee: 9:32am On Jul 06, 2015 |
LadyGuinivere: Yeah I understand what you are saying but she is going to be scheduling her annual leave for that period, besides she would only be with me for a month pending when my hubby and mum come to join me. She had her annual leave letter from her office and all but nothing was asked/ckecked |
