Let universities resume, but to me, Primary and secondary schools should remain closed. Because those kids may infect people with that horrible disease.

Lol grin, does it matter which one?

For the sake of those who earn a living via teaching in schools, I hope schools reopen this year.

It's been a really crappy year.
What plans do you have to curb the covid-19 disease?
The WHO has told everybody to practice social distancing, keeping 2m apart, which developed nations are struggling to do.
...at home, in public transport and in offices.
Nigerian schools have been known to always admit more students than the classroom can handle.
When I was in JS1, we were 25 students in my class.
The size of the classroom was roughly (100 square meters) 10x10m^2 for 25 persons
By SS3, same 100 square meters class size was taking 50 students.
By the time i was in university, I heard that my previous secondary school and many others were taking 150 students in that same 100 square meters.
All government schools and private schools are guilty of this over crowding of classrooms for profit.

Unless you want to just tell World Health Organization to F*** off and go back and crowd your classrooms like that.
Then World Health... will tell all the other countries in the world that Nigerians are not doing social distancing and they are spreading the virus
very well in their schools, hence ALL the countries should NEVER do international flights into and out of Nigeria again.

As we remain a sick nation with no more links to the rest of the world.

Shey you want that one?

With the rate at which states are easing their curfew..

Resumption might be closer than we think. I personally think.

If we are to resume, It would be October, and any announcements would have been made September, just to prepare everyone...

Personally..

I'd like it to be next year.
Cos my business is just taking off.

And it requires a lot of attention, which I'm finding a way to automate it... So it keeps running even when I'm not around.but it would take time..

smiley wink

Hopefully next year *fingers crossed*

Please what business, help a fellow student with an idea please

So you actually believe the covid is as dangerous as the media is telling you even though i am so sure that you don't know at least one person who knows at least one person who knows at least someone who has died from the virus?

So those kids don't go to church, play around in market or their parents don't go to markets.. What about the election gatherings in Edo and ondo

Semi illiteracy is what is killing most Nigerians

What I don't understand is the role of Federal ministry of education, which has turned to a bystander while each state is formulating their own different policy. Is it difficult to have an holistic policy from the Federal ministry of education that all states must align with?
