There is another option is to change the nationality of your country, that will help with the embarrassment... Nigeria is a great country, the oppression is too much, young minded Boys with talent will see boys on supercars and they will be carried away... Nigeria will be great again but we just have to stay legit if Nigeria wants to be great again... This news is really a big disgraces to people in other foreign countries... to bad for the people over there... is like a oil sour one finger and it is rubbed on all finger..

Send them away. So far Nigerians believe they can always run away from their country when things get tough, they will not strive to make their home country better. Let's make Nigeria better than these developed countries so that nationals from other countries will also be itching to come to Nigeria too. Then we can exert revenge and send dem away too.

All we know how to do in this country is segregate and discriminate among ourselves yet, the outside world doesn't give a damn at whether you're an Igbo, Hausa, Yoruba, Efik Urhobo etc. All the know is that everyone from Nigeria is a Nigerian. There are bad people everywhere in Nigeria and there are equally good people in Nigeria. Let's stop tying crime to any tribe or religion. A crime is a crime. Until we grow above ethnic and religious sentiments, we're still primitive and backward and illiterates.

[s]Let's blame Buhari for the crime perpetrated by ipob miscreants across the globe[s][/s].

Is IPOB the problem or bad leadership. What we are discussing here is that instead of our image getting better it actually became worst under ur Baba.
Recall that that Baba of URS travelled all this places to tell them how corrupt we are and now everybody expect to see him turn the situation around but na only his friends are in continuous looting spree and he is fighting corruption.
Try to reason abeg n leave Igbo out

Once you see the introduction of Ghana in a supposedly Nigeria debate that degenerates into tribalism, chance are the debate was instigated by Ghanaians/foreigners. Like I always state, much of these tribalism on Niaraland is being generated by such people.

Stop talking nonsense. This is a direct result of the crimes IGBALODE Raymond committed!!

When IGBALODE also known as Hushpuppy committed those terrible crimes, it trended all over UAE and globally. The Emirates were seen making very angry statements including their government officials.

Now, they are acting on it but instead of this afonja to be remorseful and ashamed that his brother has caused serious irreparable damage, he is here still shamelessly trying to shift the blame.

What rubbish!!
THRASH
Sharap
Both of you, Afonjas and Igbos are destroying Nigeria image abroad. I love my tribe. We are quite, peaceful and good ambassador of Nigeria anywhere in the world.

You may not be far from the truth I don't understand reading through most comments up their some are even happy that their fellow countrymen that are hustling abroad might be sent packing. Do they even know how these guys/ladies help Nigeria economy just by sending some of their earning back home, we maybe happy it's UAE 2day who knows which country will start theirs tommorow and most importantly our leaders should own up. We have bad eggs amongst us but will still have good eggs amidst.

There are still lots of Nigerians in UAE who aren't disturbed.
Many low paid employees from Nigeria do alot terrible things here.
Many are into Yahoo Yahoo, they sandine themselves into one apartment, some of them bully their fellow Nigerias and other national they flat with.
Just yesterday evening a fellow Nigerian told me that her Nigerian neighbour who was owing their landlord Aed.3000, wanted to escape without paying his accumulated rents. He was packing his stuff bit by bit until the Security man/Janitor who is also Nigerian asked his neighbour to him monitor this tenant as it appears he was escaping gradually.
The neighbour had earlier bullied the lady and his escape with unpaid rents could implicate the Janitor and cost him his job.
These and many more are the dealings of our young people here and they're closing the doors on others.
Many other nationals now know Nigerians to be trouble.

It's not about being "a poor nation" they know we are richer than them all round.
It's about the bad behaviours of our young people here.

The people arguing on the first page of this thread are not aware that outside Nigeria we are treated as one people. Nobody cares which ethnic group you belong to.
