Regarding the CB position, we've been basically hoping against hope all season. . . that players who hadn't played 20 games in an EPL season would step up and do the business day in day out. By and large, they have but they collapsed under pressure on Sunday.

The issue wasn't aerial bombardment as such - if the same lads could deal with Stoke and their perpetual aerial threats, I don't see anything special in what B'ham did.

While some may blame the lads for making mistakes at such a vital time, I suspect Utd or Chelski would not end up in a finals in that type of situation. . . .in the end, Arsene is responsible for the playing squad we have.

Not really complaining about the defensive side of things, just pointing out the fact. Kokomaster needs to be given a break - he's played almost every game this year with no break except when he had a back injury. . . .players inevitably make mistakes at some point, playing nearly 3 times a week for 2 months will obviously bring forward the occurrence of that mistake due to the frequency of games.

Let's hope that is his main clanger done for the year and he strides on to make oko oloyin MOTM performances from now till May.

Lol, Djourou has been very good. Kos hasn't been bad either. Together they aren't a bad pair. Kos's mistakes are the reason why I may not say he is our best defender for now. So I guess Djourou takes the spot for our best defender for now.

DJ20 has always been my favourite CB at Arsenal and I think this season he's been our best CB.

Kos and Szcecezny are our no1 CB and GK respectively

That simply means Kos is our first choice CB (together with DJ20) and Szcezny is our 1st choice GK. So what we need to do now is psyche them up and not talk down on them.

By the way, RVP is out for three weeks according to Arsenal website while Cesc remains 'possible' for the Barca trip.
