I think it's unrealistic to ask for more than three additions this summer, hence my selection. Secondly, when we consider the lack of expenditure at Arsenal, the likes of Cahill are likely overpriced, while I struggle to see who Parker would replace (except when Song is injured or at the ACN)

Wasn't it the French Parapo of Henry, Vieira, Pires, Kolo & Lauren (African Frenchies ) that won us titles in the past? I insist that the players we bring in must have enough in common with the current side to seamlessly integrate.

The issue is not nationality for me - I chose those players based on their ability to make an impact (using the last EPL season as a yardstick) and their ability to bring improvements in areas where we lack a missing ingredient.

The sooner we are realistic the better. . . .the prices being quoted for Cahill ALONE could buy those three players I mentioned. Given Arsenal's penchant for not spending lavishly, I'd rather go for those three than a possibly overrated Cahill.
