It should be investigated and be condemned if it's true. It should be balanced with more recruitment from the south. Otherwise, they will hold secret security meetings and no personnel from the south will be there. And this is not good for our safety.

We should worry and cry for ethnic and religious balancing in a sane society. Does that even matter there?

But in Nigeria's case, our worry should be for the consequences of the evils of the Fulani because both the victims and the perpetrators are casualties.

The infirm nepotists want a country where others are politically, economically and militarily disarmed, impoverished and subjugated so that they can advance. It shows their existence belongs in the stone age. Basic understanding today tells you advancement is in inclusivity, and exclusivity is a highway to the degeneration of all. They just can't think properly.

If this is found to be true then Mr. Bichi should be called to order. The reality in Nigeria is we only talk when things isn't in our favour. This lopsided appointment and recruitment process has been the trend of this nation depending on who is on power and from which zone he is. That was how it was during OBJ's tenure, during GEJ tenure it was worst more than now. Remember, NIS recruitment? Don't quote me when u can't present fact. Check the number of Federal Civil servants according to states and zones you'll know that Federal character is a big scam in Nigeria. Some core Northern states have less than 1000 people working at Federal govt compared to Abia state with highest figure having more than 5000 people working with FG. Those days when southerners favour their zones they claim that northeners lack the qualification or merit to get employed, sometimes they used to say they don't apply while the truth is those days what is happening now is the replica of what they did. Many times southerners boast that North can never match the number of Federal Civil servants from the south in 50years to come and is true. Even if North will keep this kind of lopsided recruitment they can't match south in the next 20years.
Who knows if the North is trying to balance the figure?

Meanwhile all you guys insulting the Northerners, doesn't the South have representatives in Senate and House of Reps to fight against all these but No they're fingers are too busy with what to steal and instead of u guys to bring this to their wicked attention first, you cry North, Nepotism and Bubu upandan. When Nigerians understand that democracy doesn't start from the President but from the Ward Councillor then our democracy will move forward. Until then we watch and pray.

Neither Obasanjo nor GEJ ever favoured any section of this nation in appointments. There has NEVER been a more brazen show of nepotism than been showed by this Buhari Govt in the histroy of Nigeria.

It is the one good thing EVERY single Govt in Nigeria has done regardless of how terrible they are. We arnt talking of equality here but a semblance of balance and a sense that no section of the country is unduly favoured in Govt. Heck there was a section of the constitution and a commission to enforce this.

The employment of the 4904 employees favoured the South-South ahead of other zones, especially the North.
The jobs of the civil servants in question are said to be in danger but attempts by the FCSC to sack them have led to a crisis in the service, Punch reports.
According to FCSC Executive Chairman, Dr
Shettima Abba , the recruitment of the 4904 employees violated the principle of federal character.
“The Federal Character Commission has viewed and observed with concern the recruitment exercises undertaken by the Federal Civil Service between 2013 and 2015, which glaringly is lopsided and grossly abused the principle of Federal Character to which all institution have subscribed,” Abba said.
“The recruitment which recorded the engagement of about 4,904 workers, threw away all common sense and wisdom of national cohesion and integration by favouring some states to the detriment of others.
“We are worried that if this trend is allowed to continue, then some sections of the country may not only feel alienated but may feel insecure by the action of people in authority.
“It is inconceivable and a gross injustice for a geopolitical zone to be allocated 33.6 per cent of the total candidates recruited as against 26.2 per cent for three zones combined, North-East, North-West and North-Central.
“We further request without prejudice that all processes must involve the Federal Character Commission for advice and strict adherence to the principle of federal character as contained in our circular on guidelines and procedure for recruitment.”
According to Abba, the employment of the 4904 employees favoured the South-South geopolitical zone ahead of other zones, especially the North.
He noted further that the 33.6 per cent of those employed were from the South-South alone while 26.2 per cent were from the North-East, North-West and North-Central geopolitical zones.[b]

That's a very big lie. There was never lopsidedness in any federal appointments by any pdp administration ever. Federal character was always practiced whether in the military, civil service or even ambassadorial appointments, that's the PDP way.pls stop supporting this foolish nepotism
