Yeah.. it’s the fear from Sardauna that made them slaughter 50,000 igbos and counting

Ohh what sweet fear cool

Igbo have started spreading lies that they can’t prove

When did erediuwa refer to igbos

Dont shift grounds. Did he mentioned how the Igbo was dominating them in the north or not ? I have the video where the British journalist interviewed him ? Did the Erediuwa not mention Igbo dominating Bini in his book ? You guys are all weak but this time na Ijaw go treat your Bleep up

Wait for it. Don't be impatient.

Also, I comment on any thread I feel like I can add something to.

so with all these powers why can't Oba or Benin people get gelegele back from Ijaw ?
And who told you it belongs to the ijaws? what happened when they tried to install a pere and who is the governor they pay allegiance to? is gelegele part of Edo state or an autonomous community? is that local government still part of the 18 local government areas of Edo state or am I missing something?
Whether ijaw or not,so long the land is in Edo state and under the Edo state government and oba of Benin jurisdiction, the oba will never harm anyone under his protection. Do you think oba of Benin is like your Instagram and instablog/Linda ikeji oba that appears on social media daily for wrong reason with customize shoes and night club induced mentality. Oba of Benin never took sides with any politician or instigate his citizens to vote for any political party, rather he sued for a peaceful free and fair election. oga you are mixing politics with culture.. the Gelegele is under Edo State not under Benin.. that is the fact and ijaws are more populous than Benin and can be found in about 4 states .. so Gelegele is gone for good there is nothing you can do about it and they (ijaw) have made their position clear

if you get Gelegele oya go and install ovie or any Benin chief there !

ozaooo(young man) is there a pere there, yes or no? if there isn't then it's still under the oba of Benin's jurisdiction. I am not mixing anything,I just state some facts that makes some Kings loose respect and becomes powerless before the people.reason they say "you don't have anything to fear about a person that talks too much"/"if a masquerade dances too much for long in the arena,he looses it's importance and it's dance steps becomes obsolete".

BRIEF HISTORY OF GELEGELE-GBENE AN IJAW COMMUNITY

Gelegele (Gelegele Gbene) is one of the most ancient historical Ijaw communities of Ovia North East Local Government Area of Edo state, about 45 km South West of Benin City, South-South Nigeria. It's stemmed position in the Benin nation, Edo state, Nigeria and black race cannot be over emphasized. Gelegele community is a reference town or community that cut across many sphere in the Economic, Political, Historical and Social Cultural existence of all institutions and Nations concerned. Some of the Bini communities near and around Gelegele are UGHOTON, IKPAKO, EGBETAN, ODUNA and UGBINE etc. And these communities have one thing or issues at one time or the other both for good and bad.
The town is accessible by Land, Air and Sea.

TRADITIONAL TITLES
The Gelegele Community like every other Communities are assisted by the AMA-OKUSU-GBOLUWEI, AMA-NANAWEI, AMA-DIWEI, IKASI-TEBEWEI, OGUN-BOLOWEI, TORU-DIWEI, ERU-KARIWEI, ONANA-GBALEWEI, DUNU-KONWEI, OSIN-KARIWEI and many other traditional titles. Gelegele owes traditional title of WURU-TOWAWEI OF Olodiama Clan at the Egbesu Ground.
However, evidence and event have shown that the only overlord, influence/control wielded over the Gelegele people is an Ijaw influence under the traditional ruler/overlord of the Olodiama Clan. The ruler is the PERE OF OLODIAMA CLAN. This was the overlord that the Gelegele people usually paid and pays tribute to. This paying of tribute to the Pere of Olodiama by all the Ijaw communities in the clan was backed by the " Pere of Olodiama Mid Western Gazatte No. 56 Vol.10, dated 10th october, 1973, NSLN 62 OF 1973, the Constitution {suspension and modification Decree} 1966 Iyeku-Uselu District council {Appointment of chieftancy Committee} order 1973" gave legal backing to the Pere of Olodiama clan with its seat at Ikoro, one of the Ijaw Community in Olodiama Clan.

CULTURAL/FESTIVAL

The Dinokon/Ugbosukoromor festivals, an annual fishing festival, other festival includes; Temeweigbolei, Amamieye, Bini-Ere and Posigboloi festival. Also the traditional dance of the Gelegele people is the same with other Ijaw areas called '"Aboo, Igime, Owusei, Oweigiri, "Ogele e.t.c".
The Gelegele people speak the Izon language of the Olodiama Clan in Edo State that is similar in all ways to the Olodiama Clan in both Delta and Bayelsa State, their dressing and cultural belief bears No Similarity with that of the Ughoton {Binis} or any other people and their festival includes;
The Amagbolei festival, an annual end of year party, Ugbosu{Palm Date}, Igbada {the oracle of Ijaw people}

By way digression into the benin history as to further buttress the ownership of benin and existence of Ijaw of Edo state, the late Dr. Jacob U. Egharevba, an eminent traditional who himself is a benin in his book titled "A short History of benin Third Print :, 1968 page 1, submits firmly as follows:
"Many, many years ago, the binis came all the way from Egypt to found a secure shelter in this part of the world after a short stay in the sudan and at Ile-Ife,which the benin people called Uhe....... Tradition says they met some people who were in the land before their arrival". The Ijaw people of Edo state were the original inhabited of benin city.
According to the E.A. Kenyo in his book "the origin and the title of Yoruba Rulers" page 3. He wrote about:
" The New people" the Bini thus" up till this time of Oba of {Benin} and his people were pure Yoruba and did not understand the language of the Aborigines who usually salute themselves and the new and the new people thus: "A Doo" "Dolo O" and wherever the Oba's people saw the Aborigines they used to call them "Ados" from were the name Edo was taken. The Adoo is an Ijaw prayer greeting from the root "UNDO" meaning"may you live long".

According to prof. Allan Rider in his book "Bini and Europeans" 1485-1897, published 1967, page 27.
Which ever of the "Slave River" the portuguese frequented, the people they first met would have belonged to the Ijohs {Ijaws} which dominated the coastal belt swamp forest, extending inland to a depth of 30 to 40 mile in this region.
He went further to state in page 28 thus...
"The Bini Edo lived now as they seem then, outside swamp forest area... and there are no reason for believing that it ever extended to the coast. Nor are the Edos of Bini ever river faerer or cannoe men... The existence of Gelegele-gbene Community predates the existence of any other tribe and any other neighbouring Community as a clearly evident in the statement on page 7 paragraph 5, and page 8 paragraph 9. Chapter 2 of the "Report of the commission appointed to enquire into the fear of miniorities and means of allaying them, submitted to RT. HON. ALLAN BOYD, M.P Secretary of state for colonies by SIR HENRY WILINKS Chairman Gordon HADOW PHILIP MASON and J.B SHAERER, on 30th july, 1958 in London. For purpose of clarity and ease of reference we shall like to quote:
".....In addition to the Edo-speaking group there are within the two province considerable Non-Edo Elements, notably the big Ibo population in the two eastern divisions of Asaba and Aboh and 70,000 Ijaws most of whom live in the western Ijaw Division."
"They {Ijaws} are said to be a people who live in the area now called Nigeria longer than any other of the larger tribes and were probably pushed down into the Delta area in times of which no record has survived. The country in which they live is divided by creeks, and inlets of sea and of the Niger into many small islands, which nowhere rise far above the highest tides and floods. Their transport is by water and the construction of roads or railways would be prohibitively expensive. Theirs is a country which, through no fault of man, has been neglected and which is unlikely ever to be highly developed; they are distinct in their language and customs from the Edo speakers or Yorubas. Benin claimed over lordship them at one time but they show no desire to return to it."
Gelegele-gbene Community has been an international trade center even before the colonial era. Gelegele-Gbene Community has traded in slaves, cowries, leather, and shells of sea animals with the Portuguese and British traders before the advert of colonial rule in Nigeria. Gelegele-gbene Community has been an international Sea Port serving as an hinterland port to the Colonial people who had their base in Forcados. However, the traditional occupation as Ijaw people are: Fishing, Farming, Palm Wine Tapping, Timber logging and Craft Making e.t.c
It is on record that Late Oba Akenzuwa II of blessed memory sent the present Oba in 1953 to Ikoro to Represent him in the installation of the Pere of Olodiama {the traditional head of the Ijaws}. And it is sad and painful to note that since the present Oba of bini came to the throne he has not allowed Gelegele people and any other Ijaw speaking tribe/people to have peace.

REASON FOR THE CLAMOUR AND ATTEMPT TO PARTITION GELEGELE COMMUNITY.

Engr. Donyegha and Late D.S.P Alamenseya {Governor General}

The Benin Monarch has often time plan to assimilate Gelegele between, an Odionwere, and Okao and the Benin Monarch, hence the incessant clamourage. Scheming; manipulations, telling stranger/made up stories, royalty arranged, untrue mythological events bereaved of historical facts, court cases, letters {one of them plight of Okao Gelegele} to lay claim to the Gelegele people and community, so as to share the spoil or the cake/moi-moi that accrues to community due to the attention being accorded by the Federal Government and the international community as an oil producing community in Edo state and the proposed establishment of a seaport and a new sattalite town in Gelegele Community.

It is on this note we the Reformed Ijaw Agitators is passing a strong warning to the Edo state government and it's Oba to know that the Ijaws has never be conquered and will not be conquered by any for that matter.
The Edo state government and Oba should not forget to be humble.

No , I have no problem with Edo just Bini revisionists. Again, dont assign powers your Oba doesn't possess to him. He is a mere human and will bleed just like every human being.

And , the part about being to the east is both ignorant, self deluding and embarrassingly a ffucking lie. Go discuss with your village children....wetin una dey find for Onicha , Porthacourt , Lagos , Aba and why do you always want an Igbo wife? Oga, swerve!

We are in time of Southern unity there will be no need to prolong this,

I hope you know an Igbanke chief who went by the Ika title of Orike-Eze was embarrassed over his use of a non-Benin title at the Palace of the Oba when he went to pay homage. You cannot rule out the element of compulsion in the use of the title of Enogie by Igbanke traditional rulers.

In fact, many of them use Eze or Obi and only use Enogie in their interactions with Benin.

If he is not using enogie, he should not visit the palace that is a disrespect to the Benin stool , we don’t have any issues with them now, they can keep their madness,

If you’re living in Benin you must use the enogies title outside Benin city you can have your title, and visit the palace and they give you your full respect ,just like the kings in the various part of edo, even if you're not having the enogie title , wen they visit the palace they are respected because we understand they are not ruling in Benin city, geographical sphere and Dey are limit to their welcome in the palace unlike an enogie in Benin
This tradition have been ancient and not new so i would if he respect our tradition or keep is space

If you are in Benin you must have the edo title for duke enogie, or you can stay out of the palace and keep your title till Biafra comes

You Igbo are really getting on people’s nerves with this your Biafra issues and causing more damage to yourself than good

I support Biafra but una Dey use am Dey disturb
Everybody even port harcourt his hating on you guys now

Make una chill

I'm still trying to come up with a name for this special kind of madness that causes you people to rant about Biafra to me when I am not even talking about or supporting Biafra! Like, what the hell is wrong with all of you?!

You said nobody forces Igbanke people to use Enogie. I respond and say that this is not entirely true. Next thing you are ranting about Biafra. What shall we call this nonsense now? angry angry angry

The bolded breeds respect and not pride

If you know the person that insulted your oba, carry your anger/rant and go and meet him. I did not insult your oba.

And don't bring Biafra to my comments again. I'm not a Biafran. Learn to stay on topic.

Are you aware that a late past oba conjure fire with his hands and threw it on a tree and the tree burnt down?
Are you also aware that the present oba placed a curse on traffickers, who specialize in trafficking Edo citizens abroad for the wrong purpose after forcing them to take oaths in order to pay back millions and traffickers started dying both home and abroad till trafficking was reduced to a minimum?
Do you know there was a time oba market was on fire and hoodlums used the opportunity to loot traders wares and the issue got to the late oba,he made an announcement that he will be stepping out the next day on bare foot to walk the length and breadth of the market, who ever looted anything as small as a pin will face the consequences and truly almost everything looted were returned that same day while the stubborn ones actually payed for what they priced ignorantly with the mindset that oba's power are just myth?.. I could go on and on because it's not every oba or king one toys with. even some chiefs are not permitted to see the oba talkless of sitting among his councils, likewise it's not every seat in there(throne not included, just normal seats) a stranger or even an indigene or some categories of chiefs can sit on in the palace?
Do you know almost all the guards working in there have never set their eyes on ring road even though the palace is just less than a stone throw from there and are virgins till the end of their service? I can still go on..
Do you know there was a time an old witch got toasted and roasted in the air like roasted chicken just for flying over the palace of the oba,the witch didn't have business there but was toasted just for flying over it.
Do you know it took more than the mouth could mention before the palace walls were demolished at a particular section just for expansion of ring road to be constructed during oshiomhole's tenure as governor, and rebuilt. Go ask any Benin person,e go clear ur doubt. I dare you to go touch the cloth of that young man oba places his hands on and not oba himself and see if you will see the fowl or goat your family will slaughter for Xmas.

After placing the curse the trafficker stopped right?

when last did you hear about anybody crossing Mediterranean Sea or any video of girls lamenting about paying huge debts to madam that brought them into Europe?
Many Madam's forfeited the money girls were to pay them when traffickers started dying mysteriously, which usually starts with vomiting of blood all of a sudden. bro I put it to you that nobody will help you traffick any lady through the airport not to talk of land in Edo state.
