I’m quite sure the Public transport drivers, agberos and bus conductors were the ones who burnt the BRTs cos of the competition it has been posing to them.

But na the Lagosians go suffer am

The BRT were burnt by Dragons sent to destroy the wicked Tinubu. Tinubu is the owner of the BRTs. He makes billions of dollars daily from them so the burning is justified. The attendant suffering is just a small sacrifice that people must make in the quest for a better Nigeria. We move!

Your brain didn't tell you that those buses are insured even when your own life is not insured. So from your comment burning the buses is nothing other than jealousy because he makes billions out of it not because he is your state governor that refuses to use money given to them in good use, or that Tinubu is denying any state there monthly allocations, or he has stall or ordered any state from creating jobs. You can't mention one single thing tinubu stopped your state governor from doing for you. I challenge you on that.

While I saw Tinubu inside a Range rover Sentinel... Anarchy and communism only makes things worse for the poor.. When I said Endsars should suspend the protest the day Govt disbanded Sars many called me a sellout but some of us are visionaries who can sight problems from a mile away
That's why the endsars protesters are protesting in the first place, why should tinubi by inside rang Rover and the masses have to suffer? If the protest years good result, a good numbers of this masses can afford private car.

Now you contradict yourself, if our demands were met then, how is police brutality worse now.

If it ever stopped, how could it get worse now ?

We are not going to fall for cheap and useless responses. Let it be known now that the relax on the protest is only temporary. A revolution has started and no man born of a woman would stop this move.

These zombies don't know the coming uprising, you know so called Nigeria government is working hard to keep on putting fear into people's minds.

But it's too late for these terrorist political efulefus.

Looking forward to seeing the resumption of the real protests.

No. Don't change the Narrative.

During the protests, police shot and killed protesters at Surulere protesting police brutality. Assaulted women and protesters in Abuja and Lagos. Nothing got worse because we protested, it only highlighted very strongly the need to completely overhaul the police system. And based on the events of 20:10:20, a complete overhaul of a worthless and insensitive government.

Most of the foolish celebrities and motivational speakers that told peaceful protesters not to back down after govt scrapped SARS and agreed to youths demand have cars to move up and down. They all disappeared when soldiers arrived and their gullible followers who are enjoying free shows and foods were told to hold flags as anti gun shot.Nigeria is not at such level where national flag is honoured by anybody. So sad the gain of the peaceful protests have now been overshadowed by reprisal attacks and looting by the people who want to end govt looting and displayed how more prolific they are in burglary breaking, entry and looting.

Can u pls tell me how many times SARS has been scrappedd by this administration? What are d youth demands that govt agreed to? What was d govts response when protesters refused to back down?

There is no way a sizable number of masses can buy good cars let's face it ..what Govt owes them is good public transportation and truth be told those Marco polo Viale Busses destroyed are world class

This your headline is stupid and misleading... did you see the peaceful protesters burning those buses?
In case you don't know, there's a clear difference between protesters and hoodlums or thugs rented by same government to destruct the peaceful protest.
what led to hoodlums emergence?

The army caused this. Why did they provoke peaceful protesters by shooting them.

While the army acted criminally, they did not provoke anyone into looting. Looting was done by thugs ( not protesters) who took advantage of the void created by police withdrawal. The pallative looting on the other hand was an amalgamation of thugs and ordinary people who came to take what they believed was meant for them.

Do not link endsars protesters with the thugs that started their work on Tuesday night. Those were NURTW thugs.

Of course they are the same people who profit from the absence of the BRT buses!

Glorifying the suffering of people.
The aim of this op is to say"for protesting, you people that protested or supported the protesters deserve every suffering you get".
Burning and looting,as bad as it is,and try as much as people and government warn against it,have most often been a collateral damage of protests, even in the most civilized, well to do and democratic of Nations.
Bad policies make people become angry. When u now add hunger and suffering,u would come to realize,Nigerian protest was even a bit mild.
In many Arab Nations, with the kinds of hardship and police brutality Nigerians are suffering, whole cities would have been burnt to the ground and numerous government facilities set ablaze.
In the Western world,1/4 of what is happening here would have shut down cities and countries for weeks till practical steps are taken or governments resign.
Successive Nigerian governments are lucky to have relatively laid back people, despite the level of hardship.
As for the BRT buses, for heaven's sake, large corporations like that take out insurance policies for vehicular accidents, bus infernos, accidental or deliberate or irate actions by the public.
If they didn't,then one must question the kind of people running the BRT.
It's a demented person that would find joy in glorifying suffering of people because of a largely peaceful protest, that was then infiltrated by government sponsored thugs, which for everyone has backfired.
