Same sabon gari you just rubbished, those resident there are mainly non-indigenes and they contribute a great percentage to the IGR of the state. You need to tell us why won't the government invest in infrastructural development of the region. Until we see a yorubaman or an igboman in kano as a brother and sister who deserves a better life to which he contributes to achieve for the state in which he or she lives, we're merely deceiving ourselves in the name of the so called one Nigeria.

Sabon gari isn't witnessing any replica of those you posted. I visited kano twice in September and still visiting kano this month. The hotels conpanies, restaurants, materials shops, private schools and other businesses established in that area contribute hugely to the state's revenue yet, it has witnessed huge neglect. They don't have good roads.If you're coming from the airport. The moment you step into sabon gari, you're in a different part of the state/city. That's very bad. Almanjiris sef prefer going to sabon gari because that's the area where they feed fat.

No doubt that other parts of kano has witness some infrastructural development, but truth be told, Soban gari area of kano is a total neglected area when it comes to infrastructure.. bad road, no drainages, no water, total slum all because it is a Christian dominated area or non indigenes. they only come during campaign and after that nothing.

I live in Port Harcourt and I am not from Kano state. But all I know is that the only three cities in Nigeria are Lagos, Abuja, and Kano. The other state capitals are just big towns including Port Harcourt where I live.
