There is a difference between prophesy and forth telling. While the former is a gift of the Holy Spirit, the later is not; any body can forth tell. Prophesy often confused with forth telling is bringing God's promises to fruition amongst men. For instance in Ezekiel when the Lord asked him to prophesy to the dry bones and they ressurected to a great army. Forth telling is just a talent wielded by even unbelievers.
