Yeah
See a lot of things were happening then

Twins were abomination
A straying person can easily be sold as slave or used as sacrifice
Virgins were used for sacrifice

Ask your self who caught the slaves that were sold to the white man transported to America and west Indies

Let me give you a finding I deduxed;

Majority of the problems plaguing black Africa like bad leadership, poverty are all tied to the curses these people that were sacrificed and sold as slaves cursed the future generations of the descendants of the perpetrators which were our forebearers

Now our present generation are reaping the deeds of them our forefathers

A lot of evil we're done then prior to the coming of the white man

All those things were normal for ancient times. Even among the whites, in their own time.

Dangote industries has the colonial company running scared. They had decades to operate refineries in 9ja but they came up with a scheme to refine the oil and gas off-shore, up the price, then re-import it. And Naija's so-called leaders have been part of the scam since the beginning.

"Shell started business in Nigeria in 1937 as Shell D'Arcy and was granted an exploration license. In 1956, Shell Nigeria discovered the first commercial oil field at Oloibiri in the Niger Delta and started oil exports in 1958. ... Many Nigerians thought the developers were looking for palm oil."

CNNIC launches new content to showcase Dangote projects

By Chidinma Uchechukwumgemezu -November 17, 2020

Africa’s richest businessman, Aliko Dangote, has donated a mobile testing centre with the capacity to test 400 people for COVID-19 daily, to the Kano State Government.

CNN International Commercial (CNNIC) has launched a new global branded content campaignto demonstrate the impact of Dangote Industries’ investment across Africa through its transformational projects.

Produced by Create, CNNIC’s in-house studio, the campaign tells the story of Dangote’s vision of a self-sufficient Africa, how the company’s investments are transforming the lives of communities and powering the economic growth of the region through agriculture, technology and infrastructure.

At the centre of this campaign is a film that highlights the impact of various landmark Dangote projects and initiatives including the world’s largest oil refinery that will fuel Nigeria with energy and employment, a fertiliser plant that is transforming crop farming, as well as investments in sustainability across production, training and research and essential improvements to infrastructure.

Filmed over a series of weeks in Nigeria, the campaign captures footage of each initiative, the people involved and uses statistics and graphics to show the effect that the projects have on communities, employment, future business and investment for the entire region and beyond.

Reaching a worldwide audience, the campaign will run as a two minute film in commercial time on CNN US and international networks, with bespoke content produced for distribution across digital and social media platforms. Data targeting and optimisation will ensure that the content reaches Dangote Industries’ key audiences of global c-suite executives and business leaders.

The cross-platform campaign is the latest part of a longstanding relationship between CNNIC and Dangote Industries which includes the sponsorship of Innovate Africa and the Profit Point segment of CNN Marketplace Africa.

James Hunt, Senior Vice President, Global Client Solutions, CNN International Commercial, said, “This new campaign captures the impact that Dangote’s Transformational Projects has on the community in Nigeria and the wider continent. By putting the impact on people and communities at the heart of our storytelling, we have been able to show the enormous and widespread impact of these impressive initiatives and projects. We are delighted to once again produce a cross-platform campaign with Dangote Industries as our partner and show our global audience how the company is transforming lives every day.”

Aliko Dangote, President/CEO Dangote Industries said, “We recognise the perceived difficulty of doing business across Africa, but we remain convinced that the potential for growth in Africa and the opportunities available in value added manufacturing remain attractive. As a group, we create significant value in Nigeria and the African continent by generating multiple employment opportunities via our multi-billion dollars strategic investments in Transformational projects such as efficient industrial and energy infrastructures, cement, road construction, rice production, sugar production, petroleum refining and fertilizer production. These investments are aimed at achieving food sufficiency and economic growth and empowerment across the continent with positive impact on the people.”

Wars have always been part of human history

But sacrificing your fellow human being
Cutting of someone head or body parts
Burying someone alive
Selling millions of people into slavery is a heinous crime
It's barbaric and evil

It affects generations
Do you know the kind of pain, suffering and untold hardship that the generations of slaves suffered in the Americas
It affected them for hundreds of years

You can get back to normalcy after fighting a war for years Liberia, Sierra Leone, south east etc and many other places ha suffered war and gotten back to normalcy

But the effect of the wickedness of the past affects generations unborn

That is the reason for Africas backwardness
Look around you
The level of backwardness in this continent is terrible
And no sign of any changes

We don't talk too much! Only Chief Asari-Dokubo is enough to deal with all of you. No evidence Jubo Jubogha is Igbo. He could as well be from several other ethnic nations within that vicinity. If you Igbo had shame you wouldn't even lay claims to him. Igboland was primarily vassal to us. That's a fact.

Asari Dokubo ancestor like Jaja Opobo were all Igbos.

Listen to Asari Dokubo:

The ancestral stool I occupy today...Edi Abali was

Bonny people never sold slaves. Bonny was a place where the runaway igbo slaves stayed, or the igbos who where returned from slavery overseas.

You Igbos don't have shame! If you had shame you will keep quiet. Boasting about your people you sold into slavery. Which other group does that?

If you feel IPOB is wrong then you guys should be vocal and put them in their place. If not for all the attempts to force an Igbo tag on us we won't be talking. Just like Asari-Dokubo and King Jaja. My community falls under Rivers state. As Rivers Ijaws we don't want to be associated with an Igbo identity and the Igbo should respect that.

Bonny was not, is not and will never be an Igbo settlement! Stick to your Igboland. I wonder what your problem is!!!!

No wonder Northerners never want to set their eyes on you. Once you are accommodated you try to rob people of their heritage and homeland .

Bonny sold slaves. In the course of the slave trade they partnered with their sister Ijaw city state, Okrika. Okrika provided most of the slaves and Bonny sold them to international traders. Okrika got them mostly from present day Abia and Imo.

Asari Dokubo ancestor was not a slave. He was "likely" a slave merchant who settled in your land and became your king. Its history, it's what it is.
Ijaws sold themselves as slaves too.
Slavery is part and parcel of human ugly history.

I don't know any Igbo man who wants to associate with your people. IPOB don't represent Ndiigbo.

But the truth remains that people of Igbo origin migrated whether because of slave trade or as merchants of goods, to Okirika and Kalabari.

The Rivers Ijaws are nothing but an amalgam of Igbo and Ijaw. They are more of a child between a black and white persons who decided to identity as one colour (white or black) and not as biracial(black and white).
We know the story of Tubonijus of Okirika who were mainly from Igboland and who went there to settle as traders not long ago.
These are all history you can't wish away.

They however don't mean that proud Igbos want any form of union with you lots.

Some people would rather Ndigbo keep quiet while they rewrite our history! They’ve seized the opportunity the uncivil war provided them to not only steal what doesn’t belong to them in Port Harcourt, but also to try and rewrite the history and origins of Igbo territories and outposts bordering their land!

All of a sudden, Opobo founded by a wealthy Igbo man isn’t Igbo but Ijaw! I don’t know the history of Bonny and Okrika, but at the very least, i expect they will have strong historical links with the Igbo mainland!

They never gave birth to an originally Ghanaian Ijaw man who could travel to Igboland just for sight seeing and come back alive , let alone coming to kidnap Igbo slaves.

It was Igbo people, the Tuboniju in Okrika, an originally Igbo people who migrated into your lands and ruled over you Ghanaians until the Biafra war gave you the opportunity to usurp them, that worked with Aros for Igbo slave trade.

It was basically Igbos of hinterland vs Igbos who ruled over Ijaws( Jaja in Opobo, Oko Jumbo in Bonny, the Abams in Kalabari and Tubonijus in Okirika) that did the transactions during slave trade.
All the aforementioned groups are/were Igbos.

The Tuboniju of Okrika are not Igbo settlers! That's a lie. Very false information. I am Ijaw from Rivers state. I don't feel a bit Igbo, I feel 100 percent Ijaw and Igbo people should come to terms with that. We are Ijaw, our language is Ijaw, our food is Ijaw, our culture is Ijaw.

Go and make enquiries about a popular Tuboniju family, the "Ogans" who were originally from Asa (Igbo) but ruled over you Ijaws .

Its a common knowledge that the Tuboniju were on the majority a people of Igbo origin.
