Why should Dangote be buying our refineries? Yaradua knew the dangers of handing over our economy to Dangote.

At least,Dangote would ensure they are functioning to give him profit...Buhari and co don't care if the refineries work or not,is it not the same Dangote the Nigeria government is depending on?

If the minister of petroleum Mr.B can spend #81B and makes a loss of over #70B, you can imagine how he runs the country. We don enter this one. The painful part is 2023 looks bleak for the youths.

NNPC is now a heavy burden to the country like the president and the entire North.

Na them kukuma full the NNPC.

Hope this time, the north will learn that leadership is not by energy, stubbornness or religion. Some can never make good leaders, chief among them are the bigots and the nepotistic majority in the north.

One thing I know for sure, make Nigeria hell, plenty in the south will find a way to survive, they adapt and thrive but for the north most adapt to poverty by managing much more and the rest flood the south to go beg from those they hate like death.

Buhari has spent $1.6 billion on Turnaround Maintenance (repairs) of refineries and nothing is produced, I mean zero barrel of oil per day.

The Niger Republic refineries he signed MoU with last week was built at $980 million.

When we criticise Buhari, his praise singers will attack us.

They know next to nothing. undecided
They know exactly what they doing.... Only a fool will see this happenings as normal or coincidental. The money spent on TAM for our refineries could ve built about 2 news ones but they keep deceiving the gullible ones

NGPatriot, please come and defend this

Tired of these pseudo-patriots who misconstrue sycophancy, lunacy, idiocy and cultic following of a personality to being patriotic.

You are not patriotic to one man, you are patriotic to your country. You are not patriotic to a party, you are patriotic to your country.

Ever wondered why the Havard trained and top ExxonMobil Exec Ibe Kachikwu was unceremoniusly removed? Some things are just plain sickening to

hear when there is so much poverty in the midst of plenty, because of unchecked corruption and mal-administration which benefits these politicians.

it's not so much the privatization of refineries that was the issue but the person of Atiku and how him and the Obasanjo administration went about the privatization process during their time. remember nitel, all africa games houses matter? even how the PH refinery was sold to dangote but reversed by yaradua because it didn't follow due process

Whoever operates the refineries, it will still be a loss to the people.

Either by outrageous profit or milking the Government for "subsidies". We have people like Atiku and Obasanjo that sold Government properties to themselves and their cronies.

They then quarrelled publicly in from of us about who cheated who and got a bigger share!

Our problems has nothing to do with refineries but greed with impunity.

Why is cement cheaper in other African countries where Dangote established in a jungle without a single enabling environment?

Nigeria, no matter who is in Power will bleed to death unless the country go back to Regional Governments.

the Nigerian govt has shown over the years that they do not have the competence to run anything related to a business entity.. they will run everything down,..start blowing taxpayers money and oil revenue to pretentiously repair what cant be useful. privatize and remove your hands ..they will not agree..cause that's where they raise their slush funds from.. monies that won't be accounted for..oil refineries, ajaokuta steel mills, etc...just slush funds for the Nigerian govt.
